It crackles & growls. About as loud as a super 40. I wouldn’t say its mild. Less drone than flowmaster which i still like. It looks premium & we’ll see how it does over time with the rust.

So I bought these and they sound good, only problem is quality is really lacking. The outside can where the seam is was only spot welded in 3 spots at the ends and one in the center not a fully welded seam. So now only after a few months the seam is separating and starting to get an annoying drone. Borla should do better quality control and make sure there mufflers shouldn't leave the factory with an incomplete weld. They said the muffler is sealed inside then the rest of the seam is supposed to be spot welded. 🙄. Over all tho muffler is good.

it maybe a 6 but it sounds like a v8

I have 2 on my 4.6 mustang GT and it sounds amazing and much louder than stock. I put 1 of these on a 5.3 chevy expecting it to be crazy sounding and loud like it did without a muffler. But Nope it deadend the sound so much it sounded stock. I was very surprised and so was everybody else expecting a near racecar like sound. It sure muffled the sound well
