Excellent and reliable cleaning
I got this to use upstairs for it's room awareness, and self-emptying ability. I have multiple schedules for different rooms setup. Main bedrooms get done around midday, other rooms in the middle of the night. Works great over a mix of carpet and hard floor, and honestly the place looks and feels cleaner than any attempt I've made with a manual vacuum. So far I've only had to change the bag every few months (upstairs has 4 bedrooms, bathroom, and en suite cleaned daily). It's easy enough to empty the bags using chopsticks to avoid having to buy too many.Works great with Google Home and homeassistant for on demand cleans.Battery lets it clean for up to an hour, but it doesn't take that long once it's mapped out the floor. It's terrifyingly accurate with it's map generation too. And doesn't get confused if I move it's base to another room before starting it - it quite quickly works out where its new home is and works great. The price is a little steep at first, but given that it outcompetes my £450 manual vacuum, and doesn't need me to do anything for 2 or 3 months at a time, I'd say it's probably worth it.

Very good, go for it!
The robot has mapped the 2 floors of my house using 'training' runs and this reduced the cleaning time by about 25% compared to not training it. It is slower than me pushing a vacuum, but as I don't need to supervise it who cares?I'm loving the self-emptying. Imagine the alternative, it cries for your help to empty it because the bin is full before it can finish its work - no thanks!Suction and coverage are excellent, however there are some caveats:- skirting board mounted doorstops appear to be challenge, it doesn't seem to clean completely around them- although it does get very close to corners I'm not convinced it gets right in there- it can't go through an open door and clean behind it if that door opens against a wall- my home has a door that open outwards which when open blocks access to another room- a light floor mat on a wooden floor might get pushed aroundThe mapping is great, you can edit room boundaries and name rooms. Once you've done this you can choose which rooms are cleaned and define the order in which they are cleaned. You can also configure no-go zones on the floor maps or use the provided IR barrier.I have the habit of clearing the floor before it sets off. This is one reason why I haven't yet used the scheduling, perhaps given time I'll become less attentive to these things. The other reason I haven't used the scheduler is that it operates on mutiple floors - so I guess I would have to make sure it's on the correct floor before it starts a scheduled clean, and that seems a bit of a faff. For now, as there as is always someone home, it just seems easier to control it manually.Yes, I could buy a second and have one per floor, but I imagine few do at this price. The app does support multiple robots in your home but they will need compatible software. Honestly though, I've just bought a stick vacuum for 1/8 the price of this to do the bits it can't reach like the stairs, inside the car, and other areas mentioned above.Goodbye noisy old Dyson, I'm not missing you.

Expensive but generally effective, house is noticeably cleaner.
We are please with the vacuum overall, it’s not perfect and does miss areas occasionally and it takes a while to learn the house layout. It’s effective at working around most obstacles and getting between chairs and under our sofa etc. The ability to schedule the cleaning of rooms is great and so is the fact it self empties into the docking station which we only need to empty about once a month. The house is noticeably cleaner, we have a child, 2 cats and a dog and since getting the robot we have no tumble weed on our hardwood floors, less Pet hair, dust and crumbs. It’s quite noisy so you can’t really have it clean the living room while watching TV, but we usually schedule it to clean when we are out in the day or busy working. We still do a manual vacuum a few times a month but having the robot do its thing every few days has made a big difference. It’s expensive, but the tech is pretty clever and it is generally effective.

Pricey but worth it 100%
How did I survive without a vacuum robot cleaner?!?I have 3 dogs (1 that sheds a lot), 1 toddler, 1 husband with an outdoors active job, and me... We make a mess! But this little machine just makes life so much easier. Picks up every day dirt and dog hair easily, and with the app I can work from home while it cleans up!The app is really easy to use. I've had other similar cleaners where the app was horrible. The auto bag emptying is BRILLIANT. I never knew how much I hated having to empty a vacuum cleaner. Only issue is the bags are not reuseable, and although 1 lasted a month of cleaning (working everyday), they are a pricey extra. Please iRobot make reuseable ones!!!It seems like an expensive investment, but seriously it was so so worth it.
