Works well. As other reviewers have said, the AV socket is the only questionably part. On mine the video signal only worked with the 3.5mm plug partially inserted into the socket. Having said that, the picture quality from the AV socket was so poor I didn't want to use it. I bought a HDMI-to-VGA adapter instead. The audio from the AV socket also buzzes but that comes from a ground loop which can be resolved with an audio ground loop isolator. All the apps I wanted to use worked well. The BBC iPlayer app only works in phone mode which is tricky to navigate with the original infrared remote but I have ordered a wireless air mouse which I hope will make it easier.

Don't waste your money on this as it's poorly made,resolution is abismal half the apps don't work properly and you can't even get Disney +After contact with customer service I have received a heart felt apology for my faulty item and have been kindly compensated for the issue, to which im very grateful for and amended my rating accordingly.

I've had Android TV boxes for a good 7 or 8 years now and I have to say that this is one of the best.If you want to do a bit of web surfing, streaming via official and unofficial apps and update social media you can't get much better than this for the price.Highly recommended.

The performance was excellent, actually outperformed my expectations, for the price compared with some other expensive box out there.I will recommend this box any day

Wicked little device

I use this instead of my smart televisions features. Its great, especially if you get the g30 voice remote and use it with that (the remote is available for about £13 on Amazon).Snappy clean user interface, full google play store, built in apps are good, only annoyance is that while you can turn off the light on it when I put the device into standby mode the light stays on even though I have it set to be off, which it is every other time except in standby.It plays 4k videos fine, I prefer its YouTube app over the one on my tv as holding down the ok button over a videos thumbnail gives you additional options for things like adding the video to a playlist such as your watch later list.The included remote has five buttons on it that can copy those from another remote so you could use the A95X as your main tv unit and teach the remote to also work the on off button of your tv, choose input sources, etc.This is a great little box which I really do prefer over the smart features of my samsung smart tv, it is small yet doesnt overheat even when on all day and it just works. I recommend uninstalling tvmc, which is a version of kodi, and installing the free play store version of kodi though if you use kodi as it is newer.Negative points are that the light seems to stay on in standby mode, and that really is about it, if you take a little time to adjust the settings it is even better.
