They're good scissors, regardless if you're left or right handed. They're comfortable to use. Not sure if it's because we've had them for so long as this point, but the screw needs to be tightened on them quite regularly. Not sure if it's an age thing or if it's due to us giving them a quick wash and letting them dry off. We've been quite good about making sure that they don't accumulate moisture or anything like that. Due to their dependability, we often use them for opening packages and whatnot in the kitchen, hence the washing.

I bought this pack of scissors for my mother. I have several packs around the house -in the kitchen drawer for packaging or snipping greens, the bathroom vanity for threads and floss, the desk for trimming recycled paper for note paper or photos, the tool box for packaging or directions I want to keep and so on!
