GPS watches are unique. After all, how many people want a gps device strapped to their wrist? I do ! The Garmin 6x pro solar is by far and away the best watch I have ever owned. Add all the other features and the gps and you hit pay dirt! Solid titanium case high quality crystal and rapid snap on/off wrist bands. The 6x pro solar is by no means cheap. What do you want...a pretty gold watch that does nothing but tell time and maybe the date. For the same price (over a thousand dollars) you can have a watch that looks great (sorry no gold...just titanium 😋) plays any music 🎶 you want via Bluetooth. It even has games if you’re into that. Are you the athletic type? Go no further the 6x pro solar has heart rate and oxygen saturation indicators. It keeps track of how much energy you are putting out if you are running, climbing or just walking. This is a great watch...period. I could go on with all of it’s features but the review would be pages long. Just take my word for it, want MORE than your money’s worth? Get the 6x pro solar. Highly recommended. Oh one thing Garmin doesn’t rate the watch as “Scuba capable” yet it’s good to 100 meters (333 feet down) I brought this up because I am a professional diving instructor. Garmin has some watches they rate as scuba capable but they are more for a deep diver (beyond 333 feet). In thirty plus years of diving I only did one dive beyond 300 feet and with two tanks I still only had about 15 minutes before I had to start my return to the surface (had to decompress). I dove to 150 feet with the 6x pro solar and had no problems or leaks. My point...if you dive recreationaly you probably will never approach 100 meters. Garmin ought to change from “no scuba” to “limited scuba 🤿 “ My 6x has been underwater a lot without any problems. Battery life is fantastic at 20 days although you have to shut off all the functions you don’t use or leave some on and take a battery hit. I leave just about everything going and I get a week plus before needing to recharge (fast...only a couple of hours). The heavy hitter is music. Battery time goes down to a few days but who leaves music on 24/7 ? Music off battery comes back 🆙. I hope this review helps you to decide on a Garmin!

The Fenix 6x Solar is also worth every penny! I am not going to bore you with what this watch can do. It is amazing, and before purchasing one should read reviews and descriptions of this groundbreaking product. I also own the Fenix 3, and have used it when hiking or walking in new environments. My main reason for upgrading was the purchase of a terrific new treadmill, the non-motorized Trueform Runner. I wanted a sports watch that would provide easy (no cell phone or chest band), accurate, instantaneous heart rate as well as an average heart rate over a period of time like 5 minutes. Well, the Fenix 6X Solar does that and a whole lot more! Best of all is that everything is accomplished and saved in the background, making the easy, intuitive use of this watch its most import quality. After awakening I exercise for an hour and then synch the watch to my wi-fi network. I then click Garmin Connect on my computer and instantly see how many hours of sleep I actually received overnight as well as the number of hours of REM sleep, and when it occurred. I have found this data to be completely accurate. Sometimes I wake up during the night and either stay in bed or come out to my computer. Incredibly, the watch records all of this! On Garmin Connect I also see a record of how many steps I took for the past week (or more), the number of miles walked or run, my body battery rating, my recovery heartbeat after exercise, and many, many more interesting datasets. Note that the watch is NOT complicated to use! I was wearing it and enjoying it in no less than 15 minutes after unpacking. The simplicity of use is more than enough reason to give this product my highest rating!

I have this watch for about a week. So far I love it. The battery life is excellent. It integrates with my phone perfectly. The availability of watch faces and apps is terrific. Based on my use so far I think on basic mode the battery would probably last about a month. Using GPS and motion sensors you'd probably get about 2-3 days battery life. Overall this is a great watch. The shipping was very fast and the packaging was perfect.

This watch is a beast. Fully customizable, has the most features in the market and battery life has no match. Super happy with my Phoenix 6 PRO Solar.Note: The "Solar" part of the watch has little to no impact on the performance of the watch, being it so complete and with wonderful battery life. If you are buying it just because it's Solar, don't do it. Buy it because of its features.
