Gigabyte GK-K8100 Aivia K8100 Back-lit Gaming Keyboard

OVERVIEW: If you are looking forward to the features and possibilities advertised with this board, don't be. This keyboard has many of its features bugged out and faulty. If this isn't enough of a deterrence, read the rest of the review.I've had the keyboard for a few months now, and learned all the little bugs about. For starters, don't expect the touch controls at the top to work. The only one that does work(to an extent) is the mute button on the left, and this constantly causes a wierd bug where it will mute the audio without me touching it and if you try tapping the button again to unmute it won't. So you have the open the volume control on your computer and unmute, but the keyboard keeps muting it causing a wierd loop to the point where you have to unplug the keyboard.I am also dissappointed with the quality of the UI (user interface) of the macro editor. It looks like something out of a game made in 1990 and is very confusing to use. The macro keys also tend to bug out, to where listed commands are skipped or the macro doesn't activate at all.The backlight is also misadvertised. When I ordered mine, I was expecting a cool red backlight, instead it is blue and there is no way to change it in the macro editor or any other way.The only plus to this keyboard is the different pressure resistance on certain keys, which is the best thing about this keyboard. You may not think about it as a factor, but it really does make a difference (a good one at that).

Keyboard is fine so far. Touch multimedia interface is terrible, beware. After sometime of work it starts to mute/unmute with faster and faster rate. To solve it you have to disable HID service in windows, completely disabling this touch interface. Looking on internet it pretty clerly shows this is not a particular keyboard problem, but for all of them. And they still sell this buggy product.

Just got this, and I have to say it feels great so far. Only complaint I have is that the keys DO NOT light up red, they light up blue, which is irritating because I got this with the assumption that they were red given the description. I got this to match the other red lights on my rig. Big disappointment that they are blue.

Looks and feels great so far but was greatly disappointed when I found it be blue back lighting.My entire rig is black and orange and now I had a black and blue keyboard. If I wasn't going to get orange than I would have gone for a multi-color keyboard. :/

Very nice keyboard.

I really was looking forward to this purchase. I am sorry to report that the backlighting did not work upon installation. I have many years of PC experience so no I didn't screw it up. I tried for more than an hour to troubleshoot this issue and could find no support in any documentation - I did not call anyone, nor should I have to. Backlighting is a must for me - this was a dealbreaker.Had to send this back and ended up buying a CM TStorm Trigger and I love it!Hopefully you have a better experience. Two stars because the packaging was solid and I was probably just unlucky.

the keyboard has a great wrist rest, the keys feel great and there are different thresholds for most of the keys and they all feel great when playing a game. it was delivered fast and in perfect condition, the keyboard looks amazing at night or in the dark with the light up keys.

This keyboard feels really great and is just beautifully once you get it and it also comes with a keyboard protector for it.
