Small compressed sponges suitable to remove makeup or to apply cream. Well made. Soft to touch. Arrives compressed but will expand when wet. Recommend.

Second purchase of these. I sometimes forget to exfoliate and these help with the in between and really get the dirt off my face. Great for travel as well.

I recently tried these sponges because washcloths tend to get rougher with washes and still carry bacteria and I've been having facial skin issues. They come compressed into small disks, but once soaked in water, they expand into a soft and flexible texture, making them gentle on the skin. And made of 100% natural cellulose, which is a nice eco-friendly touch and makes me feel better about putting them on my face.So far, I'm impressed with how well they work for their tiny size. Work goods with my facial cleanser. They don't seem to be too harsh! I have sensitive skin so this is aspect is great! Fit nicely in my small hands (they are on the smaller size though) and they rinse clean without holding onto residue. In the description, it says you can use for multiple washes but I do a one-and-done use.The only thing I wish they did was kept water longer. These sponges are exactly the same as those used by esthetician uses, albeit, they are not as thick as hers. They do arrive very flat, but quickly plump up when in water. My esthetician uses new sponges for each client; however, she suggested a quick cleaning after each use should suffice for me to use them more than. They clean easily with hot water which washes away the cleaning balm and soap I use for my face. There is a small amount of residue after cleaning, but hot water and a dab of hand soap clears it up. The only thing I wish was different is that they would be fluffier, but it would probably interfere with their ability for exfoliation.
