Moen Replacement Hose Service Kit for Moen Pulldown Kitchen Faucets, 150259

I picked this up to repair a Moen pull-down kitchen faucet, and it was exactly what I needed. Instead of replacing an otherwise perfectly good faucet, this service kit restored everything back to normal operation. My old one started snapping the head off the ball swivel after 6 years of use. This new line took me about 30 seconds to swap it out! I was able to remove the old one and quick disconnect the connection under the sink that was low enough for me not to have to get on my back under the sink. I pulled it out, slid the new one down, pushed it into the quick connector, snapped the weight on the new line and put the head on the hose. And it was back up and running within a minute! The hose matched the original equipment properly, and installation was much easier than I expected. The connections fit correctly without any modifications or adapters. One thing I appreciate about Moen faucets is that many components are serviceable, and this kit is a great example of that. A relatively inexpensive repair can extend the life of a faucet for years. Great - installed easily - but keep your current hose weight. One is not included

This is a fine replacement 68" hose for a Moen Pull DOWN faucet. This hose will NOT FIT my Moen Pull OUT faucet, which has a 59" hose . The female fitting on the longer hose is slightly larger than the original. It simply will not allow the faucet nozzle to fit into the valve deck unit. This was the Moen kit, paid extra for brand name. So I thought it would be complete. No, just the hose with the tips. There is as little plastic screen that Internet independent trainer showed how to replace. No little screen in Moen's "kit." Just put old one back in, but there should have been a new one in my "kit." Also, there is a little weight that attaches to hose to pull it back. Just put the old one back on. Moen should have mentioned this. No instructions, no Internet referral. No paperwork at all, in fact. It went on, works good.

Absolute perfect fit! Glad I read reviews and found that we had inherited a pull down Moen kitchen faucet. We bought the house in 2018, never having any problems until finding water on floor! Research confirmed that the correct replacement hose was ordered! A 5 minute install and we are good to go! No leaks ...thank you for all the information with this item!

The hose was a direct replacement for my existing Moen faucet line, my issue is that the original and the picture for this item on Amazon show a brass end, while the new part has a plastic end. I installed the line and everything works fine, I would just prefer brass over plastic and would like the image on Amazon to match what was shipped.

My old hose had developed a leak and needed replacement. Supposedly MOEN will provide a replacement hose for free if you still have your receipt for the taps, but since we didn’t have one and needed it fixed right away I elected to just buy one. Removal of the old one and installation of the new one is literally a snap. Since this was just replacing the retractable faucet head hose, there was no need to shut the water off (as long as the tap is in an off position) but not a bad idea to do it - better to be safe than sorry. I pinched the white clip shown in my picture and this allowed me to detach the hose - just pull it up and out through the faucet. I screwed the faucet head into the new hose, dropped the hose down through the faucet and reconnected the hose. Snap the weight onto the hose over the electrical tape(my hose already had a piece of electrical tape on it marking where the weight went) and presto you’re done. Really nothing to it.
