Jim Fletcher Archery® Primos .44 Caliper Release with Buckle Strap

I have to say this trigger is nicely machined and works great . It came with the trigger pull preset with a very light pull . I am extremely pleased with the whole package and would encourage anyone looking to buy a trigger release to really consider buying this one . Great product for a lot less money .

After trying many releases, I found this one to be comfortable, well made, and precise. It is difficult to find what "fits" when shopping for just the right bow-hunting accessories. Modern equipment is superb; therefore, it is highly subjective to review a product and I always tell everyone to try it and return it if you don't like it.Personally, I have medium wrists and wear a large-xl glove. This release works wonderfully. The trigger is very light. What do I mean? Compared to the squeeze of introductory models and barely touch to release premium models, the Fletcher is a happy medium. Not to light, not too consuming as to distract you from your aim. Lock it, draw, finger always behind the trigger, bring that index finger around and over, ever so slightly rest it on top of the trigger, begin to curl that index finger – focusing on your target....wham! Bulls-eye.My bow is no slouch. An Xcentric 7, 29" draw length, and 70# draw weight. This release does the job. Buy it. You can always upgrade and have a very nice backup to spare.

At first I loved this release.Let e start there.Also This is my very first year hunting. I was able to harvest a doe and a turkey via a bow.I have a partial amputation to my left palm, wrist, forearm and fingers.I chose this release after reading all the good reviews.I figured for the price it is worth a shot.Shipping was fast, service was great. Out of the box the release looked great.I quickly shortened it to it's shortest possible setting because I would be firing this release with the thumb on my gimp hand.It fit nicely, I had to pull it super snug but I was thankful for that.What happened that lead to my reason for a one star rating is the release pre released on me a couple of times.I mean to say there was no pressure on the release and it opened causing me to lose the D loop also having the release closed and laying it down or it bumping on something would occasionally cause it to open.I hoped to fix this by adjusting the release. It advertised as adjustable.My bow hex set would not fit the odd angle required to make the adjustment to tighten the release.The reason I am writing this, my first one star review is because I realized I do not trust this release not to misfire.Because of the fact this is now my (temporary) primary release and I do not trust it has caused me to be less accurate with my shooting.Oh a positive for this was right out of the box, although I had to adjust my sights, my first two shots with this release on allowed me a half inch to 3/4 of an inch grouping.

This is the first release of this type I have purchased.The adjustablility is amazing both with the wrist strap and the strap that holds the jaws & trigger.The strap that holds the jaws & trigger does not slip once adjusted. It set it and forget it.The trigger is adjustable as well, but I have not explored that yet, as it currently meets my needs.If you are looking for a comfortable, adjustable release that will fit just about any shooter, this is it.

I bought this release to replace the exact same model I have had for 9 years. The leather on the original finally started to tear. The mechanical portion of the original is still going strong after 9 years. Adjustability is great, but you will need a very small torx screwdriver in order to adjust. Highly recommend!

Great let off for compounds. I bought a backup one because this worked so well.

I have owned a Fletcher release for some time now and after 5 1/2 years it is just plum wore out so I'm buying a new Jim Fletcher release and I would put money on it that this one will last as long or longer as I shoot 5 times a week all year long this is a great release for the money
