Comfortable
I bought this one because the one from the hospital was too big. This sling is comfortable, easy to adjust (even trimmable for us short people. Doesn't irritate your neck and holds your arm as lose or as tightly as you want. Easy to get i to by yourself. Great value and works.Wont let me finish until I say sometimes about appearance or portability. Of course it portable since it's on your arm. Pick your own color so you will like it's appearance and make it easier to find when you leave it laying somewhere and like it's looks. It appears very colorful.

Comfortable!
I have a torn rotator cuff. I tried the standard slings. My elbow kept pulling out of the back of the sling. As the day went on I'd find almost my entire arm out of the sling. So I ordered this. It was a little confusing at first, but the photos really help with directions. This strap is super comfortable. It holds my arm exactly where it needs to be. And it cost a lot less than the slings that don't work! And it's actually comfortable. Best deal for my money. I'm very happy with this item.

Arms thing that is better than the standard at the hospital
We have a very cheap arm sling that was given to us from the hospital for my grandmother, and it really seem to bother her neck. So I was searching for another arm. Sling that could be more comfortable for her. So far it seems like this arm swing is not any more comfortable for her so that is why I haven’t given it five stars. but I will say that it is easier to put on her because she has significant pain on her arm that I’m using it on this sling is quicker to put on and simpler to put on than the other. So for me, I will keep using this one, but it does not seem to be more comfortable for her which is the only reason that I bought it. Another thing I don’t care about this sling is that it seems to attract any type of lint or fabric. We don’t have pets but there’s just stuff stuck to the sling and it looks like it’s not in very good shape yet it is really close to being new. We don’t even use it every day and yet it looks worse than the crappy cheap. Sling that we got at the hospital. So if you care about the way that things look, beware that this fabric is not very high-end and will look pretty bad very quickly.

Comfortable, Adjustable, Very Useful!
I have tennis elbow. If you've ever had tennis elbow, you know it's the most irritating injury ever, because, especially if it's on your dominant arm, you can't do anything without pain, and without a sling, you can't stop yourself.I picked this sling in particular because I could adjust the angle at which my injured joint was resting. A 90 degree angle would not have offered relief, and fabric contacting the affected area has also proven problematic. This sling alleviates both issues! The only thing I noticed that I needed to make adjustments for was that the velcro against my arm was a little irritating. A few slight adjustments to where the velcro was hitting on the sling (slightly to one side instead of centered) made all the difference.

Awful
This is the most pain in the a$$ sling ever!!! I initially bought it as I work in a restaurant which in the summer it is very, very hot. And the slings that I have been using were very uncomfortable hot and miserable. My doctor said I could try it as long as it supported my shoulder and arm like a sling I had been using was. Well it doesn’t. Even with the nurses help to try to get it to try and get it fitted to the right lengths was a pain. The dang thing isn’t even comfortable at all. I wore it only while we were trying to get it to fit and that was it. I would never ever recommend this to anyone not even my worse enemy.

Easy to put on - not a substitute for a full shoulder immobilizer
Originally bought a mesh shower sling for the shower and that worked really well but now that we are further along this one is easier to put on and off and works really well. The velcro is sturdy and easily adjustable. You do have the ability to swing you arm out a little bit more so it's helpful to be ready for that in your recovery. Makes it easier to wash the arm than the mesh shower sling but the mesh shower sling was good for the early days as you felt more secure in it as far as immobility is concerned. This one allows a little more access to your arm and underarm and easier to put on overall. It dries overnight so it is not wet for the next shower.

So much better than a "real" sling
I tried every sling after my rib and shoulder injury, before and after surgery, in hot and cold weather ... and it would be foolish not to add this to your repertoire. At several times, I required a more stabilizing sling, but when requirements were more lax, this thing beat them all for comfort and flexibility. In the cold, it's easy to take it on and off and adjust it for use over heavy clothing, or when stripping heavy clothing. In the heat, it naturally "breathes" and allows airflow where it doesn't usually flow with traditional slings. Removes uncomfortable friction created with traditional slings. Now, during months of shoulder recovery, I always wear it during walks or long periods standing, and frequently wear it at all other times when my shoulder gets tired of supporting my arm. Most other times, I have it in my purse just in case. I adjust frequently and so far the velcro has held up well. It's soft around the neck and arm holds. This is a must have.

Absolutely the best sling - for a complex broken shoulder
I had to use a collar and cuff sling as my arm had to hang my arm/ shoulder in traction for seven weeks to allow 3 fractured displaced bones to move into place. The cushioning and flexibility of this sling - for me to change positions and sometimes have my sling not hanging on my neck but wrap around my back and still keep everything a hanging weight was invaluable. Also as a woman it allowed me the flexibility to adjust height and length perfectly. While never comfortable as it was traction, it was a comfortable soft, and incredibly stable sling. Now using it able to support my whole arm (no traction) it is really comfortable and I’m so glad we have it.It’s a great design, very well made, and while I’d switch out on very hot days to another collar and cuff sling sometimes this product honestly kept me sane during a brutal summer!!! Thank You!My one hack was adding KTape and then softer moleskin on the rough exterior velcro when it’s in the behind the back configuration as everything else is soft but it isn’t.
