All around this is a good baby monitor, with decent picture quality (the HD hype is more hype than true quality, but better than most baby monitors). And despite saying the camera should be 6 feet from the baby, we have ours at about 10 feet and can barely hear a thing other than background noise. Sure, the argument could be made it's used outside of recommendations, but our other baby monitor was even further away and it was extremely sensitive and plenty loud. I would argue audio is more important than audio in most cases so I think it leaves much to be desired. Speaker is also on the BACK of the monitoring unit which doesn't help. Other than the audio issue I had no real complaints. We're actually going to return this model anyway for the split screen model since this model can't have two monitors displayed at the same time and that's important to us. Hopefully the audio is better on that model.

Unit was easy to install and reset but price not very competitive

We love our BabySense monitor! We had a WiFi one initially, but wanted a more private option on a closed system. After doing a bit of research, we chose this monitor and it's been fantastic! The only hiccup we had was when the battery started losing its ability to hold a charge, but we contacted customer service and they replaced it for free with minimal hassle on our end. This is a company that still cares about its customers and we will recommend them to everyone with a baby and/or toddler. Buy with confidence!

Can I just say, I’m in love with this set up! I had to replace our old video unit after only 1 year so I bought this one after reading through many, many reviews and products. I’ve been using it for the last month and everything about it just feels like an upgrade from the old one.1. The HD screen is crystal clear! There is no lag when switching between cameras either; which was a huge con I had with the old one.2. The sound is nice. There are about 5-6 levels of volume. Sometimes it’s easier to hear one camera than the other, but that could be the camera placement.3. Assembly was easy as pie. The instruction manual is very clearly written and gives step by step instructions. But really, just turn it on and the 2 cameras are already synced. I didn’t have to do anything but install the cameras where I wanted. That was also easy for me. There was already a hole in the wall from my old camera in the nursery so I actually nailed the new holster in the same spot instead of using the screws provided. Same end result; just used a different method. It’s not in a spot that the baby can grab and pull it off the wall, so I’m comfortable with the installation. The 2nd camera is sitting on my daughter’s nightstand. She’s 5 and doesn’t touch it.4. As you can see from the pictures, night vision is clear also. The nursery camera is about 4 feet away from the baby and my other daughter’s is only about 2 feet away. Both are easy to see.5. I love the zoom and maneuverability! My old set up didn’t have either so this was just awesome to play with! I believe the turn radius is 150-160 degrees left to right and about 70 degrees top to bottom. I can see the entirety of both rooms if I need to. If baby goes to the other end of the crib, out of screen, I can move the camera down with the push of a button and there she is! I don’t use the zoom often but it comes in handy when needed.6. Battery life- I’m pleasantly surprised how well it lasts. I haven’t had to keep it on longer than maybe 4 hours, but it’s on standby mode usually so by the time I have to turn it off again, it still has 2 out of 3 bars of battery left. I do keep it plugged in overnight as the manual suggests.Really, I haven’t found any cons about this set yet and honestly, I don’t think I will. I’m very happy I purchased it and would happily do so again if, by some chance, my kids get ahold of it and tear it to pieces!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this monitor!Picture is great, sound is clear- all features listed work well!! Which was a relief because I spent days researching for a new monitor (time I didn’t have bc ours died after 3+ years right when we brought our newborn home). Bought and returned one new one before this one. I am not picky just wanted something that worked, and this does!!When the battery gets low it beeps so that you are woken to plug it in instead of being woken by hearing your child scream crying across the house because you didn’t hear their initial call for you 30 minutes ago when your monitor died (I don’t trust any monitor to last through the night so I try to make it a habit to plug it in before falling asleep, this function saved us from the above scenario a few times!)The screen does not auto turn off like some so you can watch kiddo fall asleep without having to keep pressing the screen wake button.Being able to move the cameras with the monitor is a breeze and you can pretty much see 360 around the room, up and down, it’s saved us from having to go in and adjust the cameras and accidentally waking our kids!!I am spoiled with being able to talk to my 3 year old through the monitor (didn’t have it on our last). When he wakes we don’t get him right away (I’m usually trying to get our newborn nursed back to sleep) and he just plays in his room, so when he calls for me I can tell him I’ll be there as soon as his baby brother is back asleep instead of having to yell across the house to tell him I’ll be there in a minute and risk waking the little one next to me. I wasn’t sure how the sound would be if he’d be able to understand what I’m saying but I haven’t had to repeat myself once, which usually happens when we’re face to face lol.If I HAD to find one bad thing about this monitor it would be that the buttons are a bit loud when you press, but that’s literally it (which could be bothersome to sleeping spouse or if you have a sleeping newborn in the room with you while watching another little elsewhere). But that is literally it!!!! Will buy again and HIGHLY recommend.
