Wow
This will only work if you have obstructive Sleep apnea. And It is your tongue that is the problem. I am only 4 days in and the 1st night was painful. Only because I was pushing my tongue right in And the sanction was very strong. It felt like my tongue was being ripped out it felt big and swollen. But over these 4 days I have learned that You don't need to stick your tongue right in there. It only needs to hold on to your tongue At a comfortable position. To stop it from falling back into your throat when your muscles start relaxing. It does take A lot of getting used to. I'm still Waking up with it In my hand A few times through the night I just pop it back on. hopefully that will improve. On my sleep app there is there is no more snoring I am breathing a little loud But hopefully hubby can sleep through that. Yippee i found something that Really works After all these years and trying All different devices. I know it's only day 4 and i hope it stays working and I can get use to it

Painful experience -disappointed
I was hoping for a good nights sleep based on the claims this product promised ,being a heavy snorer , but that’s not what happened unfortunately . I followed the instructions to a tee , but once I applied the suction bulb to my tongue it took on a vice like grip that such was the pain I found myself lying wide eyed and grimacing for much of the entire episode , I did persist however and managed to doze off out of sheer exhaustion but woke with a welt around the tongue and a numb tip due to the pressure of the suction . Finally my snoring app on my phone recorded the worse readings for loudness during it’s use so .....no it sadly didn’t do what it said on the box for me

Works well
This at first is quite challenging to get used to, but you do get used to it and it worked great for me, my only issue is I cough every now and then and I noticed when you cough, your tough retracts and the blast of air removes this device no matter how strong it's on, overall though and especially if you don't cough this can be a fantastic remedy for your sleep, I got longer, more restful and literally extremely light if any snoring at all, I would recommend this, just know you will have to bare with it at first.

Painful
I'm not sure whether I have a big tongue or not, but I found this device incredibly painful. I woke up in the middle of the night with a numb tongue.

Stick with it and see the difference.
It's not pretty and it does take time to get used to it but it is having a positive effect on my obstructive sleep apnea. I was desperate and looked at all the other mouth devices on here. I knew my tongue was dropping into my throat so tried this. It does take a while to get used to ...stick with it and it is very weird when your tongue is clamped in it but I have found you learn to adjust the suction to get comfortable for sleep. After about a month it's only dropped out once. I am sleeping through my mouth as I have a blockage in my nasal passages and still waiting to see a consultant. But this has been approved by ENT and sleep apnea consultant Dr Vik Veer on YouTube. Try it you might be surprised and it's a good price.

Uncomfortable
The idea behind this device is that it grips your tongue so it doesn’t slide back into your throat causing you to snore. Imagine someone holding your tongue all night while you’re trying to get to sleep. I found it quite uncomfortable. You could argue that it stopped my snoring because it prevented me from sleeping in the first place. It might work for someone but not me.

This works
I've tried various things and was wondering if I'd end up needing CPAP device as I definitely had some sleep apnoea symptoms ie waking up feeling a bit suffocated. I knew my blood oxygen SP02 was low at times during sleep, below 90% at times which I know is bad. I also knew that part of my problem was just my tongue physically blocking the back of my throat and would sometimes wake with a very sore throat and swollen uvula.Anyway, enough of that, as I can confidently say that for me this device works. It is not exactly comfortable and takes a bit of getting used to. I have found that I have to really extend my tongue and make sure it is properly pulled forward. This makes the front of it swell up to the point I cant speak properly when I first take it off and it can feel like it goes a bit numb but stick with it.I also find it can fall out if I;m on my side you may find initially at least youre better off on your back.I still snore, but in a much lighter wayThe killer news for me is I can definitely see the impact on Sp02. I woke up a bit early this am and took the thing off, then went back to sleep again. My snore monitor showed epic snoring beyond this point and I spent minutes below 90% SpO2. Therefore, definitely give this a go. It might even save your life!I'm ordering spares and will keep one in my overnight bag in case I forget this as tbh I would see that as a bit of a disaster. Sleeping in a tent or shared accomodation is now much less of an embarrassment.I do not leave reviews lightly by the way
