Heavy Duty Tensioner & Cutter for Polyproplyn and Polyester and Cord Strapping , Strap Size: 3/8"- 3/4"

For the money, these are great. However, it may last 6 days or 6 months. For our business, I keep 2-3 new ones on hand, only because they are notorious for the parts falling off or out of them. Probably had 10 over the last 2 to 3 years. But we've also ordered the most expensive units, and they don't last much longer. So it works out about the same. They're good while they work.

The tool tensions fine. I should have gotten a 1 inch tool. I bought to re-bundle excess lumber on the job site. However when I use the old straps it won't cut all the way through because it's only 3/4". Works fine for 1/2" or 3/4 strap. I recommend getting a bigger tension tool unless you strictly work with 3/4" or smaller straps.

I recently had to use strapping to firmly secure several large boxes with heavy contents for storage and shipping. The 9milelake Heavy Duty Tensioner & Cutter was just what I needed. It's reasonable price and solid construction was a big plus and it worked well for my purposes. I don't know how it would hold up on a warehouse dock doing hundreds of packages a week. But for a single user with basic needs for strapping it's a winner at the right price.

I expect to this strapping tool, (meant for plastic, (including what I use, the Heaviest duty plastic strapping), I believe it will last a long time, tightens as it supposed to, strong spring to grip the strapping, no fumbling around, sharp cuts... everything it's supposed to be and do, ..it does well! Serious Value added! Nice tool, great price!

This is great. I thought I would have to spend a lot of money to get something for strapping. Nice and inexpensive tool for the job. I have used this a few hundred times now. My stuff is light duty so don’t need the expensive stuff.

I don't know what people are talking about when they say it is built cheap. My brother works at a place that uses these every day to band product to pallets. He says it is at least as well built as what they use.

This is a great band tensioner and cutter but buyers should know other equipment is needed aside from the strapping. All told for my purposes the whole set up would have been not worth the expense. Item returned successfully and without issue.

Needed a strap tensioner, and this one was far more affordable than the options out there. The cutter doesn't seem to cut through woven strap well, but i believe it's designed for plastic anyway. No problems!
