Helps me when I'm on the job.
I recently began a retail job where I am on my feet all day, after being very sedentary the last year or two. I am also obese. These factors have caused me a great deal of foot pain at work, and at times the pain has been so hard it has been difficult for me to walk towards the end, where the last hour or so especially has been so difficult, and every step so painful, that I have had to hobble around very slowly (uncomfortable AND embarrassing). I have had such bad foot pain upon getting home that I have been incapacitated for the rest of the night, and even woken up with continuing foot pain from the day before. I was wearing some inexpensive athletic shoes that just were not cutting it. I decided that I needed to invest in a good pair of shoes and chose these.Today was my first day wearing them to work and my feet fared much better. I did get some foot pain, yes, but not nearly as badly and my steps were not painful so I was able to move around quickly and get work done well even towards the end of my shift. I am wondering whether they will get even more comfortable as they wear in.As to the fit, I usually wear a size 9 women's shoe, sometimes up to a 10 in order to accommodate my wide feet. I actually ordered these in a size 8.5 wide and was worried about them being too small, but they fit very nicely. The width is perfect and the toe area is spacious which is great. My heel does slide slightly in these, even though they seem to fit well, so I am debating whether to order an 8 perhaps when this pair needs to be replaced.Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I did still experience some foot pain, and because of the weird fit and heel sliding issue.Edit: I changed to a 5 star rating because the fit issue with the sliding went away once they wore in some. I love these shoes. I wore them 5-6 days a week for 5 months and they held up well. I then was unemployed for a while and switched to a vionic sandal I also love, and am now back to work with these sneakers. They are still very comfy and help prevent foot pain compared to other sneakers I have owned, but I suspect the sole is less supportive now. Between wearing exclusively these and my vionic sandals not only is my foot pain improved but my knee and hip pain are doing a lot better, too.

So Happy! I Love Them!
I have a bone spur in my heel & Plantar fasciitis & have a lot of pain being on my feet. I've been wearing New Balance women's walking shoes in a size 8.5 and standard width for 10 years. The heels are too big, I cannot wear a narrow width as they are too tight in the forefoot area. I noticed that the quality of New Balance has gone down so I tried these Vionic Women's Walker Classic in size 8.5 standard width. They are a bit long (could of bought a size 8) & have spare room in the forefoot are BUT THE HEELS FIT PERECTLY! My heel does NOT move around and shoes stay in place! They have arch support that actually fit my high arches! My first time wearing them and I was on my feet for 4 hours straight and never even gave my feet a second thought! No pain at all! I am so happy with them that they are now the only shoes I will buy!

Great for Achilles tendonitis pain relief!
These are probably the best walking shoes I have ever owned and I've owned a lot. I have a chronic case of Achilles tendonitis and have had bouts of plantar fasciitis over the years. I also have bunions on both big toes, high arches, and narrow heels. I wear gel toe spreaders which relieve the cramping from the misalignment of my toes and the toe box in these shoes accommodate them just right. I usually wear an 8 in regular shoes but always wear an 8.5 in athletic shoes. I bought the 8.5 regular and they fit true to that size. The orthaheel removable insole has a nice high arch and lower heel plus a bit of a bump at the ball of the foot. These get more comfortable with every walk. I usually walk 3 miles every morning for an hour. Before I would have major Achilles pain and the balls of my feet would go numb. I have no issues with either areas while I am walking in these shoes. When I take them off the pain returns but I bought the full length and 3/4 length orthotics for my other shoes and wear them as much as possible. The only thing I wish is that they came in a brown or burgundy color. I definitely recommend these. The company suggests walking around in them for an hour for the first few days to get used to them before you use them for all day wear. I would say that's a good idea. I do know they feel better with each walk.

Not loving them
These shoes are good quality. I like the color white/pink. But they are doing nothing for my plantar fasciitis. In fact after long walks it is worse. The insoles are not at all cushioned. My heel really hurts after wearing for extended time. On up side the wide toe box has helped with ingrown toenails. No rubbing.

I tried them on as soon as they arrived which they arrived on time which was nice. The product that I bought and with reviews ..
I bought this shoe in hopes that it would help with my PF. I tried them on as soon as they arrived which they arrived on time which was nice. The product that I bought and with reviews suggested I buy true to my size...regardless I bought half a size up. I also have wide feet..but nothing abnormally large, so I did get a normal wide ( C ). I don't think even if I would have went up in size and width this would have been a good shoe for me. I have flat feet and no arch, the arch that is in the insole is in a weird place..clear back by my heel, and it is so large that my feet were slipping out of the shoe so I tied them tighter. As soon as I put them on an instant pain right above my pinkie toe area (off to the side corner, I guess), and instant pain in the bunion area on the other side. This only got worse when I walked around my living room and hallway. And although my heel pain DID go away, I think it was actually only covered or masked my the sheer discomfort and pain in other areas and the rest of my foot. This may be a good shoe for some, but if you have flat, wide, no arch feet like mine and are suffering from plantar fasciitis and bunions, I wouldn't NOT recommend these shoes for you.As for appearance they are not the prettiest, nor are they super ugly, but they are heavy in weight and hard soled. But when you have heel pain as long as I have, you end up not caring what they look like as long as they feel good...I sadly, did not get any of that. Good Luck :)

So comfortable!
I needed the wide fitting ones which can be a hassle to find to be honest, but these fit perfectly for me, really really comfortable. I can wear them all day, it also stopped a lot of my foot pain.In fact, I now love to wear these they are so supportive, I really notice the difference when I go back to other shoes. I feel like they're a bit expensive, but since they are the most comfortable shoes I have worn for a very long time, I can't complain. After a few months, My foot pain has pretty much gone how

Nice wide trainer shame arch support not in right place
Was looking forward to trying these after reading good reviews as I have wide feet and overpronation so need the support. Width was fine but all I could feel was the arch support pressing just in to the heel itself causing more discomfort than support. It might just be my feet but my sketchers arch support fit ok, so I had to return them unfortunately. My quest for the perfect, comfy, supportive, wide trainer continues…….

i can walk again
ive waited a while before leaving this review, to get an accurate opinion of these shoes. I ordered the black ones as the white was sold out. i have hardly been able to walk because of the pain on top of my feet, because of arthritis and hypermobility. My podiatrist suggested I buy support shoes, i have fallen arches and every step was excrutiating. they take a bit of getting used to as they are heavy, but they are very supportive and for the first time in 2 years i can walk without falling over or losing my balance. They support every part of your foot giving total stability. They are leather, i went for the 7.5 size i am normally a 7 but with fallen arches i have gone up half a size. i also bought Wellness support slippers. They do cost a lot of money but if you have pain in your feet you will pay anything for relief, these are worth every penny.not expensive at all for the support they give and my confidence knowing i am not going to fall to the side when walking.
