Fine Debossing Tip Housing for Maker Machine

I was a little hesitant to buy this because I've seen reviews of all the Non-Cricut-Brand tools for your Cricut, I read how the machine doesn't recognize them making them crapola and a waste of money and effort. When I got my knife blade, it was absolutely Cricut brand and I got to see firsthand how twitchy the tool carrier can be as to how you situate the tool. It makes sense, it's Cricut's way of making sure you destroy less things and blame them. But when it goes to detect, it will fail to detect the tool unless it's situated EXACTLY like it needs to be. Since that took a few tries to get the hang of, I realized some of the reviews would be user error. I accidentally got an off-brand engraving tip and when it worked as well as everything else, I was astonished and felt brave enough to try this. Sure enough, it WORKS EXACTLY LIKE THE CRICUT BRAND TOOLS! In fact, now I have an extra quick-swap housing due to that, which comes in very helpful when you're doing a lot of projects at once. So, this will work, but take your time and situate the tool in the carrier accurately!

The quick swap housings are so delightful in Cricut's tools! I've just started learning to deboss, and score, and make detailed cuts.I do a project several times a week, from a card or paper crown for my Mom, or a pop up card or other project. I often mess it up the first time, but my brain is kept so engaged it has been extraordinary for my mental health to have to focus hard on projects with beautiful card stock. This is a dream tool for me already.
