From bugs to supersonic aircraft - a look at wings.
Nick Bantock's Pop-up books are becoming very collectable. This Wings books takes us from bugs and flying mammals up to manmade supersonic aircraft. The construction of props that pop out of the page is unique, charming and ingenious. Bantock is primarily an artist but not the conventional kind. He intrigues and entertains in book form and I'm becoming his biggest fan. Wings is a book that will amuse young and old alike.

All of Nick Bantock's books are my favorite. It just depends on which one I am looking at at the moment. As an matter birdwatcher I like this approach to flying. As a desert dweller, Upper Sonoran, the raptors are wonderful.
