VERY HIGH QUALITY, Bi-Directional, High Performance solid built, 2-way coax cable splitters designed for CATV, Satellite, or Antenna services. They use frequency spectrum 5-2300 MHz for optimal performance on all devices. Whether you are using cable internet (broadband), TV or phone, satellite TV, or antenna system we have you covered. Works great with MoCA systems. Zinc die-cast housing with nickel plating, F-type connector, low insertion loss, high isolation, max passing current 0.5A, DC 24V, multi-outputs. These splitters are made to connect to any size of coaxial cable, which includes newer RG6 cable or older RG59 cable and will support any device that works with a coaxial connection. Unlike some cheaper splitters, which contain thin soldered wires to connect each port, BAMF splitters house a much more durable and reliable circuit board for passing signal from port to port. The Shielding improves signal quality for internet and VoIp Devices improving speeds and lowering packet loss.

Worked when it worked
Bought to see if my moca provided splitter was not doing my connection justice. I got a speed bump to get 70mbps down when I was getting only in the 50's . My service plan indicates I should get up to 250mbps down. After about a week of use my modem was not able to be reached . I did troubleshooting with the ISP tech and even reconnected my lines to the splitter and nothing worked until I pulled out the second splitter. As soon as I got that connected my signal came back. Looks like I got a single bad unit out of the two I bought. Most recently using the second splitter I upgraded to wireless mesh and have realized the full 250mbps download speeds. I'm now going to add the MOCA back in and see if one of those original splitters can be used in conjuction with my 1 remaining BAMFUPDATE: 10/29/2018The Second BAMF splitter was the cause of my recent spate of internet outages. I had my Comcast tech out and he traced it back to the splitter. So this one worked for a lot longer than the original but ultimately no where near as long as one should last. I expected 3 or more years of service not less than 3 months! I'm dropping this to a one -star.

A pair of 2-way instead of a 3-way allows single RG6 to TiVo with tuning adapter
These appear to pass higher frequencies with less loss than other MoCA splitters.TiVo Roamio installed in a larger single-level home wired with RG-6 but not ethernet, so MoCA.For HD channels, Spectrum requires Cisco STA-1520 tuning adapter, which is reportedly intolerant of MoCA.Only a single RG-6 runs from entry to central location for TiVo, tuning adapter and Arris TM1602 modem (which is MoCA tolerant).POE filter feeds 3-way MoCA splitter at entry, with -3.9dB splitter port feeding central RG-6 to first BAMF 2-Way,with one leg to modem and the other feeding second BAMF 2-Way for Roamio and (via MoCA filter) tuning adapter.Modem supports 100 Mbps connections, and tuning adapter reports -8dBmV and 34dB s/n FDC, -7 dBmV and 37 dB s/n QAM @ 675 MHz.Cisco STA-1520 occasionally requires rebooting, but that is reportedly typical.

I have crappy connection - I call Comcast
I don't know much about the in-line hardware aspect but I purchased these for a long standing problem.. my wiring is old (1960s) and my neighbors get tons of feedback on the shared coax line. Its been an ongoing feud: I have crappy connection - I call Comcast.. a tech comes out says there's a filter inline.. removes it and my connection is fixed! ... then my neighbors have a bad connection and call Comcast who sends a tech out and puts a filter back inline...I decided to invest in these to see if that alone would help my connection though I'd swapped other splitters before. No bueno. A tech came out and removed the filter again.. and so far my connection is fine and my neighbors aren't complaining..Don't know if these played a part or if the tech did something new but I'm happy and the neighbors are happy so props all around!

Quality engineering, manufacturing and improved Mhz ratings make a difference,
Quality engineering and quality manufacturing,I needed to add an additional cable for television in addition to preserving my cable internet. The BAMF splitter is bidirectional and rated at 2,300 Mhz, twice that of a splitter installed by Comcast just a year ago.The first splitter replaced the one installed by Comcast. Internet came out of that first splitter. When I did an internet speed check, both upload and download were a bit faster than before the change. The second splitter was connected to the other "out" of the first splitter. I was then able to connect two independent coax cables for the upstairs and downstairs TVs. Picture quality and streaming on those televisions are as good or better than before.

Still Comes as a 2 Pack and Works with Time Warner 100Mbps Internet
Works good with my Time Warner 100Mbps cable modem connection. My area supports the newer upgraded internet speeds so that isn't anything to worry about if you are in one of those upgraded network areas also. I have this connected to my Zoom 5370 cable modem and digital tuner provided by the cable company. I bought this in June 2016 and it came as a 2-pack despite the written product description page not explicitly stating this. I thought I was getting just one so receiving two was a bonus. It seems to be built well and I like the screw holes on both sides allowing for it to be mounted to a box or enclosure. There is another small hole on the side that I think may be for a screw to hold in a grounding wire but I am not sure on that. Since I screwed it to my grounded metal enclosure I didn't worry about attaching a grounding wire.

Works Great for COX 300Mb/s Internet speeds
I have COX Cable for Internet and Phone. When I first moved into my house in 2011, the only Internet speed available was 30Mb/s... Now, COX is providing my house with >300Mb/s Internet speed and my equipment was outdated. I found out that I could just buy a new Cable Modem (I chose a SB6190) and could use my existing Internet/Phone modem for the phone part. (There are currently no available DOCSIS 3.0 Internet/Phone modems that can handle 300Mb/s bandwidth) .This BAMF Coaxial Cable Splitter worked great for my application.Internet Speed Test's show that I get over 350Mb/s internet speeds with my new setup, which INCLUDES this Splitter on the system.I know... 350Mb/s is more than 300Mb/s but I was told by COX that it could be more, they just only guarantee 300Mb/s.I recommend this Splitter for COX High-Speed Internet use.

Not suitable for every application...
Have used products from these folks before and always been happy. Did not work out this time. Bought to allow two-way split and recombine/pass through for a dish dvr, combining uhf channel 60 signal to TV & uhf remote mini-antenna function through a single coax cable to dvr in distant room. Have done this successfully with el-cheapo splitters before and thought this would be an upgrade, but not this time. Worked after a fashion but too much tv signal degradation/interference. Maybe a case of wrong widget for job. Very well made though.
