Apple iPod Classic 160 GB Silver (7th Generation)

I've had this item 8 days and the wheel has already stopped working. I bought the insurance, but they rejected my claim because they told me the insurance kicks in only after manufacturer's warranty ends. Makes sense.So, I contacted Apple and learned several disturbing things. First, the serial number on the back does not match the one that shows in Settings, so when I contacted Apple, they had no record of the number on the back of the unit. Second, I was told the iPod had been registered back in 2011 and the warranty expired in 2012, so this is clearly a refurbished unit, not a brand new one. Basically, I bought a 5.5 year old iPod for $400. Maybe I missed some fine print somewhere, but I assumed that since I was paying so much, I was getting one of the last brand new Classics in stock. Otherwise, I would have bought a Touch.I'm working with Apple to get it repaired or replaced, and I'm hoping they just replace it. I don't want someone else's repaired junk. I'm furious!!!!

Bought this from Gadgetz Inc back in February. Was not factory refurbished as listed. Still had some other person's music on it, which I had to factory reset myself in order to clear. Gadgetz Inc never responded to messages. Item has never worked properly and now has completely died after only six months of ownership. Do not waste your money here.

The iPod Superstore has you covered if you're in the market for a new iPod. I spent days trying to see which sellers had the best return policies and claimed to have the most legitimacy. After all, spending around $300 on an iPod in 2016 is an "interesting" move (wanted to listen to my cd collection in one place at .wav format instead of MP3 or worse...streaming bit rates)Anyway, my iPod was delivered in 2 business days, from Florida to Missouri, and arrived in secure packaging. They even included a free case, along with Apple certified charging cable, ear buds and charging block.Very impressed. Definitely would recommend these guys.

I've had an Ipod Touch 64gb for over a year now and I hate it. Can't store much music and it has so much bloatware/programs that are totally useless to me. I want a true MP3 player like the Classic provides and it's a real shame Apple has discontinued and retired the best players they've ever made.This is basic, easy to use, easy to sync with ITunes where you purchase/create/organize your music library/Playlist to transfer over to your Ipod classic.I purchased a Bluetooth transmitter/receiver to plug into the stereo receiver of my Ipod in order to use a wireless bluetooth sleep headband to play through the night wireless because being the clumsy klutz I am, using wires as I have in the past I use to wake up partially strangled. But it works for me.The seller who shipped this to me has been AMAZING! So very helpful, answering my pesty multiple questions, helping with troubleshooting. Has been super friendly. I purchased this iPod as an anniversary gift for my husband in June of 2017 and by September o 2017 it had stopped working altogether. Of course I cannot return it and any opportunity for service ended in August of 2017. This wasn't cheap, I spent $399 on this item. My recommendation to anyone looking at these devices from this seller is to NOT BUY it and to just go ahead and buy a new one from Apple.

I loved my IPod, and when it died everyone said you can't buy them anymore, you have to buy another brand. I looked at all of them and I just didn't like them, I wanted my IPod. When I found IPodsForever, I figured I had a 50% chance of getting ripped off, but even though it's a lot of money, and I am no longer able to work because of injury, I took a leap of faith. Everyone told me it's impossible, Apple stopped production long ago, but guess what? These people sent me a brand new, beautiful IPod that works flawlessly, and I am one happy customer. I know nothing lasts forever, and if I had the money, I would order another one today for the coming years down the road when this one quits, because IPodsForever might not still be around. But for now, I am extremely grateful they are here doing business in 2018

So glad I could get another one before they completely disappear. I love this product. I love the storage capacity here, because I listen to an obscene amount of music. I was worried when I saw it had been discontinued because I feared I would get stuck with an iPod touch, I can't stand touch screens, or a nano (less storage space). Luckily, there were still some available. Predictably, the price is hefty, but completely worth it to me.Item arrived new, wrapped in original plastic with headphones and charger included, but not in an Apple package, which I found a bit strange when opening. The iPod works great, and I had absolutely no problems with it. There were no scuffs, scratches, smudges, or marks on the outside, though my menu button did occasionally like to stick (easy fix with a handy boyfriend). The headphones that came with the iPod were complete junk, only one ear worked, and the other had sound issues where it sounded like the music was being played through a seashell during a thunderstorm. The charger included works great though.

It arrived a couple of days after purchase and it was in excellent condition (hardly a mark on it). John (the seller) also intentionally kept the previous music on it, so I was able to keep the vast majority of the tracks (the tracks I liked) and he also threw in a couple of cases (one leather case and one silicon case) - thanks John!The battery appears to drain slightly faster than my previous iPod battery, but it's still acceptable.Very happy with my purchase and happy to recommend jonlw for future purchases. I really like the IPOD Classics and needed a replacement as my current one needs charging every couple of days. I was very impressed with the quality of this IPOD Classic, it was in good condition and I was able to sync my music library from ITunes without a bother. The battery is also very good.

Very pleased to be able to get one of the last Apple iPod Classic 160GB devices before they disappear. I already own a 4th generation iPod Classic 160GB and love the massive space it has for my vast music collection. I hadn't realised that the iPod Classic 7th generation had been discontinued and so began my quest to buy one as cheaply as possible. I looked on eBay and quickly realised that where they listed a 7th generation it was actually a 6th. Also I couldn't be sure that they were sealed or unused. So I decided that Amazon was my best option and I chose a site that was linked to the Amazon warehouse. I knew that I would pay more than on eBay but I was delighted with device which met my expectations. It was sealed and was indeed a 7th generation device. Compared with my 4th generation device, I am pleased that the wheel now moves more smoothly making it easier to select each tune. This sturdy device is the Rolls Royce of iPods, I am sorry that Apple is letting it go!

Overall very satisfied it was speedy delivery. The ipod itself in almost perfect working order except for the ipod clicking wheel which only sometimes doesn't work but most of the time it does. Apart from that very happy with my purchase and doubt I'll be worrying about running out of space to store my tunes any time soon!
