Anyone know if you can use a printer with the sheets? Like print an image and then shrink it?

Instead of epoxy resin can you use PVA glue to protect the artwork from coming off?

The short answer to this is yes. The longer answer is a bit more complicated. It depends on what you’ve used to create designs (personally I wouldn’t recommend it for sealing anything drawn with sharpies or felt pens as the glue might pick up the pigment). Also it depends on how much, I would say a few thin layers across the top would be fine but I wouldn’t recommend a lot or trying to make any kind of domed effect as again this may lead to pigment uptake or be easily dented as PVA isn’t super strong against any pressure. I have used similar mediums (gel gloss medium and mod podge) as a protective coat on shrink plastic before and they’ve been fine, and unlike the worry which might come with PVA, doesn’t peel off. Nowadays I tend to use glossy accents/diamond glaze type products, as this dries hard and protects designs. Hope this makes sense/helps.

What paint should I use on these ?

Acrylic or acrylic based (like posca pens) work best, though only in one layer, too many layers on top of each can make the designs become flakey as it’s adhering to the paint rather than the plastic at that point and then when heated this can make it bumpy. I’d imagine any sort of ready mix paint would flake off too easily and watercolour wouldn’t absorb. You can also use pens and markers on these too. It’s usually best to seal designs after you’ve shrunk them with some kind of glaze/sealant if you want paint to last.
