Kinetic SandShimmering Sand 3 Pack with Sandcastle Molds

A few of my friends, who are also triplet moms recommended this product. They said it was easy to clean and not nearly as messy as Play-doh. They LIED! This is the most messy toy they have ever had. It sticks to socks and if it gets on your microfiber couch, it will not vacuum out. Gift this to your worst enemy.

My daughter loves this stuff.. Its not as bad as playdough to clean up. It doesnt dry into the couch or carpet and vacuums up pretty well. I just thought the package was going to be a little bigger :(

Like others mentioned, it is difficult to get it out, I had to bang it on a table a bit hard. Some of it was a little hard/crumbly at first, but what I’ve noticed with kinetic sand is sometimes it gets that way but then if you just knead it and play with it for a minute it goes back to normal. Overall, it’s magic sand with glitter in it and I think the kids will enjoy it. Requires a little extra work but after that it’s great!

It’s more of a sample size but I like it’s a container to put the sand in. I don’t find it as messy.

Has a chemical smell. Is much drier than other kinetic sand. Pretty bummed I missed the return window on this one.

They looked much larger than they actually were. Don’t think this was worth the money.

I’m not sure if there’s something wrong with the package of sand I received or if the container design is just awful, but the sand is PACKED into it, making it impossible to get it all out thus ending up with less sand than what was described. Also, it isn’t nearly as glittery/sparkly as I expected. I’d consider this a waste of money. I’m considering sending it back and just getting the original kinetic sand in new colors for my kiddo.

My real score for this is 3 1/2 stars out of 5. The sand is really hard to get out of the castles the first time, is really fine and not at all glittery. Some may find the fine texture better but I got another bag by the same people and it's a little more coarse, this makes it less messy and easier to play with.The colours are nice but within 5 minutes it becomes one purple mass. This isn't a problem with the sand, more that it's pointless getting loads of colours with a 3 year old.I have added photos because I felt they were smaller than I expected.I wouldn't purchase these again because I feel you get a lot more value for money with the bigger bags.

My 3 and 5 year olds love kinetic sand so shimmeey sand sounded great but this pack was a disappointment. The 'castle' containers have been redesigned so they have 2 turrets rather than the single flat top. The result is the packs are the same height but contain less sand. The sand also seems less, well, kinetic. I'm not sure if this is due to the shimmer element but the sand does not hold its shape as well when coming out of a mould or utensil as KS does normally

Great sand but the pictures make the tubs look far bigger than they actually are. They are very small, which was disappointing. The sand is also hard to get out of the turrets if the castle tubs.

This is just the same as ordinary Kinetic Sand, there are 3 different colours with the blue one only marginally sparkly. If you expect real sparkle you will be disappointed.
