I had to find out for myself why people love this paper.
I kept hearing about Nara paper where ever I went as related to alcohol inking. I finally broke down and ordered some for myself. OMG it is so wonderful to work on. I use a blow drier and Nara papers do not warp as others do. And no staining! Love this new (to me) paper.

Works well but not when heat embossing
The inks move SO WELL on this synthetic paper. But when I tried Heat Embossing, the whole thing curled up.

Excellent for alcohol ink painting!
As an artist who does YouTube tutorials I have tried a lot of brands of synthetic art paper. NARA is one of my absolute favorites! It is perfect for alcohol ink painting, doesn't stain as easily as yupo does, and is less expensive than yupo and other brands of similar synthetic papers that I have tried. I also love the variety of shapes and sizes NARA paper is available in. The shipping was quick and the paper arrived in excellent condition. I will definitely be buying more!

KEEPS IMPORTANT CARDS FROM TEARING!
Exactly what I needed to keep in my wallet for all those cards that are only flimsy cardboard (SS card, Medicare, Health Ins, & vaccine cards). Also keeps my lists of Rx Meds & Supplements easy to give to Healthcare providers to copy.Received quickly, very reasonable, & packaged well! A++++ Seller! ♥

Better than Yupo
I love this paper, I have completely switched over to Nara paper and only use my Yupo for colour swatches. Never stains and is great quality.

Large scale surface for alcohol ink!
This is the best substrate by far for alcohol inks that I have ever found. The only one that comes in multiple weights and sizes including rolls, frequently has BOGO sales, and delivers right to my studio door. Slight staining with high pigment yellow inks, otherwise wipes back to white!

This is Nara paper and it flows the ink so beautifully and the colours stay vibrant! It’s my new favourite!!
