Great Value for an 8 port Gigabit Switch
I have used 2 of these to replace old 10/100 switches and so far they work great. Transferring a 25GB file from Windows 7 to a Windows 2012 Server averaged 974Mbps. The network graph in Win 7 task manager showed the transfer right at the 1GB ceiling most of the time with only minor fluctuation.

scrambled my existing network
I had terrible luck with this. I bought it to replace a smaller switch on stable network. When I swapped it in all of my devices reported they couldn't communicate with it. Not only that but the existing equipment got so scrambled everything on the network had to be rebooted multiple times and the wifi and the old switch both had to be reset to factory before the network stabilized once I swapped it back in.

Lasted a year before dying.
Bought this in October of 2015 for use in my home office. It lasted until December 2016 before dying. I had it connected to my router, doling out IPs to two computers, and a host of smart home hubs. For a home setting, I'd say it was under a fair amount of use. We have a high speed fiber connection, a NAS, Hue bulbs, Sonos, etc. but lasting a little more than a year is pretty bad.

I had high hopes for this switch given 1) the price 2) it's gigabit 3) it's 8 ports. Sadly, it's not all sunshine and unicorns. While the switch seems well made, etc. the 10/100/1000 auto-negotiation doesn't work with my Mikrotik commercial access point. Even setting the access point interface manually to be 100Mbs / full duplex, the switch randomly won't auto-detect the correct port speed on some ports. When it works, it works ... but I can switch the port I'm using on the switch and the switch will sometime fail to auto-negotiate. resulting in no connection. So ... in a nutshell ... it may work for your equipment ... it may not.

East Networking Solution
I've bought several of these over the past few years. I use them in both my home and my office as I prefer a wired internet connection whenever possible. These are totally easy to use and I have never had a problem with them. Like a refrigerator, you just plug them in and they work. Shouldn't all technology be that easy?
