Hawkeye Archery Square 36" Foam Archery Target

Not quite as "hefty" as I imagined, but certainly as good as advertised.

This is a 36" square Ethafoam target. It doesn't state it in the description but the seller responded to my question confirming that it is ethafoam. The target is 6" deep. It appears to be well made. It arrived in a timely manner. Seller appears responsive to questions.I had high expectations for this target. However my first batch of arrows with field points from a 30# Mandarin Duck Black Hunter all penetrated through the target. The through penetrations ranged from just the tips exposed to about 2" extensions. My cheap $19 foam target stopped all my arrows from going thru until I actually shot out the centers. For this price and for ethafoam, I would have expected better performance using my light bow. It does appear to somewhat self heal on the shallower hits.The target face is a 36" square fabric with the target rings printed on. It came as part of this purchase but in a separate envelop. It was not clear in the description and product photos that the target face was included. So it was a pleasant surprise that it was included, even if it arrived a day later.The target face description says waterproof but that was not my experience with it. It does absorb water and it does not bead off it. I had to purchase target face pins separately to attach the target face to the target. You can find them by searching on Amazon. The ones I purchased are 4" long, yellow and by Saunders.
