ASDM Beverly Hills 25% Lactic Acid Medical Strength,2oz

This is STRONG. I’m used to torturing my face with chemical peels and this one is no joke. Could only leave on 2-3 min. Used on my chest which normally does not get the same treatment as my face and it looked pretty red and flakey for a week. Just be sure to use it no earlier than a couple of days before you want to look good. Definitely not too strong that you can’t cover with makeup though. Just listen to your body and if it feels like it’s burning too much take it off right then! You can always go longer next time!

**My primary reason for using this product is to rid my pores of the raised whitehead’s that show through even after I’ve applied my foundation (not in color, but texture).** I’ve used it twice, and the first time I suspected that the strength isn’t really as advertised.1st Use: I followed the prep directions on the box, and left it on for 10 minutes. It only tingled a little bit, but after I washed it off, I was able to roll a little bit of skin off my nose.2nd Use: Today, I followed the prep directions as directed, except I inserted an exfoliating step after washing with an oil-free cleanser. Then I wiped my face down with alcohol on a cotton ball, rinsed with water, then applied the 90% Lactic acid with a cotton ball. I immediately felt more tingling than the first time, and was only able to leave it on for 4 minutes before it was too uncomfortable. After rinsing, there is noticeable redness and continued mild tingling.*I intend to update my review with more uses.*

ASDM Beverly Hills 90% Lactic Acid is wonderful. I applied it to a few of spots on my hands and arms and left it on about 2 minutes. You'll see that the skin is shiny after you apply it...that means it worked. Then next I neutralized it by washing it off with some warm water and dove soap and then I applied some Nivea Hand cream.About a week later, it itched and then it just peeled off a layer of the skin on the brown spots and the spots were quite a bit lighter in just one treatment! If it does not completely remove the spots then reapply another spot treatment with a cotton bud and repeat the sames steps. Do this until your brown spots are completely gone. It works really great like this. I got rid of a spot that I was paying a dermatologist to freeze off and it kept coming back until I did this exact treatment and now it is gone permanently with no scarring.Who wants those ugly brown spots on their hands and arms as we age? Not me! This stuff works and what a wonderful price too! You can't beat it. Just go easy by the directions and use it on small dark spots like I do and you will always want to have it in your beauty regimen!

Use this peel every other week. I am pleased with this one but it is quite strong, so be prepared to rinse with your baking soda water. Over the years I have used a peel of different types and strengths. I always use a cotton ball to apply the acid to my clean dry skin and immediately put baking soda in the sink and add water so I can be ready to splash water on my face to nutrilize the acid. I also wet a cloth with the baking soda water to dab my face for a few minutes after. I've never been able to leave it on for more than minutes. Remember I have been using peels for years. So start out with something milder. For me at this level it helps keep the age spots away and my lines are few. I am in my late 50's.

ONLY USE ONE APPLICATION, MY ARM HAS A SCAB ON IT NOW,AND LOOKS RAW, ON THE TINY PEELING AREAS, VERY UNEVEN PEEL. NOW ON MY FACE,I USED ONE APPLICATION AND IS PEELING VERY MILDLY AND NICE CLEAN GLOW. TRUTHFULLY,BETTER THAN THE TCA PEEL. )

A little scary - That's how strong this is!I have been using 30% and built up to leaving it on around 10 minutes.I probably should not have gone straight to 90% so I mixed my remaining 30% with this 90% to get used to using it.It definitely leaves my face brighter, and reduces lines immediately. My skin is soft and I look younger.The results are obvious and VERY noticeable.

Studies show that 90% lactic accid is as effective as 70% glycolic acid, but much less irritating. That has been the case for me - this 90% lactic works just as well as 70% glycolic, but stings less when it's on and doesn't leave the skin as red afterwards. An excellent product. But do use caution if you've never used a peel before

Diluting this to 30% with distilled water because it's much cheaper than buying more dilute product. Already seeing results after two treatments. Great deal!
