My daughter saw someone using these at the park and wanted them so I gave them a try. They actually will circle back to you if thrown the right way. The way I found it to work for me was instead of bringing your arm into your body ready to throw and releasing by flicking the wrist backwards I put my arm out to the side and slightly throwing released by flicking my wrist forward. They are lightweight while still being sturdy and they are soft. 5 stars for sure! Shipping was fast. Very happy with these and impressed.

My son has been practicing with this thing almost daily since Christmas. I am amazed at his tenacity. He can actually throw it and have it circle back to him and catch it about 50% of the time. When I throw it, I may as well be throwing a pancake. It sails about ten feet and goes splat on the ground. That doesn't mean it doesn't work. That just means it doesn't work FOR ME (I guess I haven't practiced enough.) My son can make the thing work properly. His competitive twin sister has managed to practice enough to catch it about 10% of the time.Bonus! When it hits you in the head/face/guts, it's a mild bump. It is foam, so no major harm's done (though it does make me wonder how anyone could manage to get good at using a real wooden boomerang without losing an eye or at least a few teeth.)It's surprisingly durable. We got a two-pack, and haven't needed to use the second one yet. The first one is still going strong. Even when I throw it (and it goes splat on the ground) it is undamaged and ready for more fun.I'm just glad there is something safe the kids are eager to do outside.Hours of fun and exercise for just a few dollars.

They are thin and soft.he chased them around for hours.they crack easy.

Kids had a blast with these. Spent hours outside throwing them. Took them a while to get them to return proper. They work best with a light breeze. Kids like showing their friends how they work.

These were less expensive than others I've purchased that looked identical. But you get what you pay for. Cheaper less durable material.

Easier to figure out than a regular boomerang but still kinda hard. Lots of fun!

I was not expecting these to work!!!! Careful around roofs! They actually work and come back to you but they soar high so we have had to get it off the roof a couple times. My eight year old loves it! I love that it is foam and it doesn't hurt when he hits himself on accident or a window, car, or sibling. 🤣

These were bought for our two boys as Stocking stuffers. However these turned out to be just very cheap foam dollar store items. Literally you can find these in your local dollar store. WOULD NOT last a day with normal boys playing with them. These hardly constitute as a boomerangs it’s just a shapely piece of foam that really does nothing. Waste of money go buy elsewhere. I am starting to believe the rumors about inflated ratings on Amazon products there really needs to be some quality control.
