Tomoe River FP Loose Sheet, 8.27 x 11.7", 100 Sheets/Pack, Cream (TMR-A4P-Y)

I've been wanting to get Tomoe forever but the price has always been ridiculous! However, I managed to get a pack of 100 A4 that was reduced and wow.Even though it is ultra thin, tracing paper thin, it can hold up to almost ALL of my fountain pen inks, I've tried it with about 50 so far, ranging from Noodlers, Diamine, Pelikan, Waterman, Sheaffer, KWZI, JHerbin 1670 & 1798, Visconti, Pilot Iroshizuku, Parker Penman Ruby and Sapphire, Montblanc and Private Reserve amongst others. So they have been tested thoroughly with various pens and various flows. Beautiful paper, a joy to write with, and both sides very usable! Enjoy.

Top of the range lightweight paper. The paper seems very thin, although there was no bleed through from my fountain pen inks. It folds nicely and if you have a long letter you can put twice as many sheets in the single envelope, keeping the weight within the 1st class postage.Very nice.

It is so very wonderful to write on, I know airmail paper quality is just different, yet it connects the brain to days of writing pages of letters to send to family and friends abroad using airmail paper.Tomoe River paper is unique.

Simply the best paper for fountain pen use.Lightweight, super smooth, performs perfectly with fountain pens.There are many very good brands of paper that are fountain pen friendly but IMO this is the best.Available in cream or white.

Tomoe River paper comes in two thicknesses - absurdly thin (52 gsm) and thin (85 gsm) - this one is the absurdly thin one but still it takes a fountain pen without any feathering or bleed-through. It's lovely stuff!

While smooth, it isn't shiny smooth. You do see the sheen very well, to the point where it's visible with some not very wet pens. I must stress that ink is very important for showing sheen. The thin properties also make for a very exciting paper.Even though the paper is expensive, I would strongly urge you to try this paper at least once.

The tomoe river paper i purchased is the perfect writing material for fountain pens. Smooth silky and tough.
