Heirloom Red Habanero Pepper Seeds - Capsicum chinense -10 Seeds - B70

These seeds are not germinating. Have tried twice with 3 seeds so now I only have about 15 seeds left. The orange Habaneros I ordered at the same time are great. All of those seeds germinated and I had to thin out the sprouts. Note same condition and potting soil was used for both red and orange Habaneros. Just tried another 3 seeds and will update.1-17-2020 2 of 3 seeds germinated about three weeks ago. Plants are growing very slow; however, I may have kept them too moist. I guess for the money they are okay but are more sensitive to moisture than either Jalapenos or Tomatoes. Note germinated in a mini green house made from an igloo cooler, glass cover, heating pad and grow light.6-18-20 They were difficult to start but the plants are robust and full of large peppers. They are much better than my previous Habanero plants and well worth the issues

Seeds would not germinate. I am an experienced gardener and I could not get these to germinate. I even tried various media’s and environments.

Nice size fruits when under correct conditions.

They are tiny seedlings.
