Fantastic for 5G Modems - 4G too if you're not scared of a dremel!
These are great to dissipate heat from your modern power hungry modems like the Sierra EM9190 - Since the 3052 form factor is just about the size of a MiniPCIe minicard, these work fantastically. For a 3042 4G LTE modem, I cut 2 of the grid off using a Dremel cutoff wheel. Again - a fantastic solution for even more modest modems like the EM7565. **NOTE** You **WILL** get a modest amount of copper dust from doing this - You must wear eye protection and at the very least a surgical mask (if not a respirator) to ensure you do this safely.

Did not cool my SSD
Installation simple - easy to peel off the backing and stick the adhesive thermal pad it on the ssd chips. I removed my SSD label sticker long ago so this was easy to attach directly to the chips. The width is a little off - about 2mm smaller than standard mSATA slot width. Length is fine. Still it's close enough to cover the chips 95%.My SSD is a Kingston SUV500 mSATA from Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-UV500-Internal-Solid-State/dp/B07C3YY66G/ref=sr_1_18?dchild=1&keywords=Kingston+SUV500+mSATA&qid=1626379210&sr=8-18Ran 2 tests:1. Idle PC, running stable for two hours.2. SSD benchmark for 5 minutes, then 20GB file write to the SSD from another internal SATA hard drive (about 150MB/s).Results were same for SSD before and after the heatsink installation. About 49-50C idle. About 53-54C peak during stress. I suspect the thermal pad is not great - maybe bad material or too thick? At least it looks pretty, I guess.

Reduced Transcend m.2 SSD temp -6C
Excellent item, wish I knew about it when I purchased the Transcend m.2 SSD. Reduced temp -6C. Tight fit in Lenovo Thinkpad W541 but it fit just perfect. Great item. Thank you.

Horrible Heatsink. Actually Made Things Worse!
I usually do not write a review, but for this time, I am writing this because I hope other people will not experience the same thing with me. After reading about so many positives about this SSD Pure Copper Heatsink, I decided to pick this up to try it out. Buy I was so disappointed. This heatsink came with a ridiculously strong adhesive. It’s incredibly sticky. It actually did the opposite of what’s advertised and made my Samsung 980 Pro10 degrees Celsius hotter! I wound up not being able to use the heatsink due to hotter issues, and to take the heatsink off? The adhesive was too strong. I even used a hair dryer to try to pry it off, and the drive bent. This is going to destroy your SSD if you need to remove it! A big piece of junk, waste of your time and your hard-earned money.

Nothing like copper for dissipating heat and my heat camera proves that this does the job
Used as a heat sink to keep the controller chip on a m.2 ssd drive cool. (Research indicated that you should not put a heat sink on the memory chips themselves.) This does the job.
