I wanted this press because it was simple, elegant , easy to use, easy to clean and compact to store. 5 stars ⭐️. No more waiting hours and hoping your books didn’t get wet sitting over the tofu block.. I didn’t realize how much crispier the fried tofu is after you use this press vs buying super firm tofu for frying. I liberally sprinkle salt free spices , nutritional yeast and corn starch and then fry away. Add more yum yum before serving…Drizzle soy glaze, sesame oil ,fried shallots , chili crisps and it’s like a taste of heaven. ☺️

What you see is what you get. Seems sturdy. Gets the water out very well. It is easy to apply just the right amount of pressure. You'll need a tray or a large plate to collect the water, but it is so simple and easy to clean that it is worth it for me.

Simple, easy to use, dishwasher safe. What's not to like? Did a good job and keeps the tofu from cracking.

I had to talk myself into buying this, but now I consider it an absolute necessity. The right tool makes all the difference. This is very well designed and very well made. It came with instructions and recipes and 2 pretty yellow and white tea towels. I looked at lots of other presses and even some DIY versions but realized this was the best.

This is a fine, sturdy item, and receiving it was a pleasure because the company included a "bonus" gift of two very nice, lightweight dishtowels which I will enjoy using for proofing bread. My only disappointment was that using this press does not cut down the time it takes to press the water out of the tofu. Until now, I used a cutting board upon which I stacked several 5 or 10 lb. bags of flour or sugar, and it took about 30 minutes to get the desired amount of water out of the tofu. Using my new press was much easier (no dragging bags of flour and sugar out of the pantry!), but it took just as long. I thought a tofu press worked immediately -- just pressing and voila!! I guess I didn't understand the process...

Never had a tofu press, after long hard looks and reviews I boiled it down to this tofu press and I made the best choice! You can't go wrong with this press. It's tough, sturdy, so easy to clean. I use a salad plate that had curled up edges so is perfect to hold the press and catch all the liquid. I actually stand it up. I hold the top plate up while I slide the tofu in so it doesn't break. Then I just stand it upright on the plate and let it drip. It works great in a 8x8 brownie pan too. I use the glass brownie pan or a bowl to marinate the tofu if wanted. It cleans so easy. I rinse it right after I'm done using it and it rinses cleans. So fast and easy. I sit it out to dry and then it fits in a big kitchen drawer. Sometimes I make extra tofu to batch cook so I wanted another tofu press. I tried a different kind thinking it was a little nice and fancy with the dial down press and container but it was cheaply built and I couldn't get it to work. So, I thought stick with what works! This press works! So easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. Not flimsy at all. Now I have 2! Best tofu press :)

...Because I'm an idiot, I suppose. I'm very happy that went with this brand for my first tofu press, because it takes all the work out of something I used to struggle to do well. This press is smartly designed (the curve in the middle makes a huge difference), well-constructed, and priced just at what I'm looking to spend on such a thing. And if you prop the little feet against the edge of a shallow bowl or other container, the water flows down and is easily contained.Just be sure to follow the guide and *don't* try to crank it too flat all at once--do it a little at a time per the guide and you'll get a perfectly flattened hunk of tofu that's ready to soak up whatever marinade you have in mind for it.

The fastest and most efficient method I've found! I've tried the little buckets presses with the springs, the heavy weights and a towel, and cutting tofu into pieces and then drying. None of that comes CLOSE to this product! I can have it -so dry- after 10 minutes... that afterwards, when squeezing it on a towel, the towel is almost dry.I press it about halfway, then give it a few minutes for the water to come out (pressing too fast without waiting will cause the tofu to crack and break). Then I pour out any extra juice, squeeze it to about 2/3 of the way down, and give it a few more minutes for the water to squeeze out. Third time, I go almost all the way down.My Tofu has been SO MUCH TASTIER after this machine. 10/10 would buy again.

The stacking of books on a cutting board was a little cumbersome for pressing my tofu. This press does the job perfectly. Easy to use and easy to clean. Produces beautifully pressed tofu that crisps up nicely. Appreciate I can adjust the tension to my liking. The tea towels as a gift are a nice touch. Would recommend for your tofu cooking needs!

After buying and testing several different tofu presses, I've come to the conclusion that this is the best one for me.It's simple, sturdy, easy to use, and most of all... easy to clean!Other presses sometimes have small nooks and crannies, which can be difficult to get properly clean, but thanks to the simple design of this press, there's no mess.Furthermore, you can precisely choose how much pressure you want to apply, which is absolutely amazing, since not every tofu block is of the same size and other presses sometimes press too lighty or too hard, depending on how big the tofu block is.Quite possibly one of the best kitchen utensils I've ever bought 👍

Very simple, very straightforward. Works for larger blocks, too.And dishwasher friendly!!!

The seller was very attentive and proactive when I ordered two presses by mistake and resolved the problem quickly. The package arrived in good time and I was impressed by the detailed instruction booklet on how to get the best results from the press. They also included two tea towels as a gift, which was very sweet.I think I actually removed a little to much liquid from the first tofu I pressed as the tofu was almost hard after making the recipe. My bad, but that’s how well it works! It cleans up very easily. The press is quite heavy, which suggests it is strong and will work well for a long time. I will let you know if it doesn’t!
