Fizzies Candy Drink Tablets, Orange (Pack of 6)

Like most nostalgic food products, they seem to have tasted better when we were kids. But it's great to have the kids experience what we had back in the day. The orange flavor is difficult to put a finger on (unique in taste) & not something I would purchase in a modern drink version. Of course, Fizzies can't compete with current drinks on the market, but then, it wasn't meant to anyway, like all nostalgic food products & candies. Though I do wish the price had remained the same when we bought it decades ago!

I wish these were more fizzy (I had hoped for an alka-seltzer level fizziness) but they taste good and are perfect for taking on trips or for sporting events where the water available might have an off-taste to it. Will purchase again.

One fizzie for 6 oz. of water is about right. If you use a big glass, use more fizzies.It does have the artificial sweetener taste to it, but our kids love this stuff. I bought them years ago, and they have asked for them regularly ever since. The place I bought them no longer carries them and it FINALLy occured to me to check Amazon, and here they are!The biggest problem your kids will have is waiting for the fizzie to finish fizzing before drinking it to get the full flavor. They will want to drink it while it is still fizzing. That's how kids are.You would buy this instead of some other kid drink because, well, it fizzes and makes itself! That's the fun of it.You get 6 boxes with 12 fizzies in each box. Each fizzie is individually wrapped.Orange does seem to be the best working flavor.

We bought these thinking that our grandkids would like them, after all when my wife and I were kids back in the 60s we loved them. Anyway, they didn't--I don't know if they are making them differently now or not, but I know they did not taste as good as they did back then.

I'm too crazy about the flavor. Kool-aid taste better and I'm not crazy about Kool-aid either. On a good note, it is fun to make.

I actually ordered these for my 47 year old husband looking for that blast from the past. They fizzed up as promised but the flavor was just not there. Maybe it would still appeal to kids? I don't know, but a disappointing treat for adults.

To say fizzies are good or good for ya would be a stretch, but if you remember them from when you were a kid, and had a sudden attack of nostalgia, they won't disappoint.
