Good for the money
Are these fancy high illumination specialty lights? No. But that being said, they are actually really bright. I have other lights that are brighter. But for the money the battery last a long time and charges easily. It is light in weight and small enough to put in a pocket or not create drag while diving. The strap works great and hold well, I just wish it wasn't as long but you can fix that easily. Cuts through dark water well and works great during night dives! I would buy again. And a great buy if you are diving on a budget

Bright, Reliable, and Ideal for Helmet or Handheld Use
I currently run three of these dive lights — two mounted to my helmet when on rescue dives and one carried by hand — and they’ve performed exceptionally well. The output is bright and focused enough to cut through dark water while still providing usable spill for peripheral visibility. The beam pattern works well in practical dive conditions rather than just looking impressive on paper. Mounted to my helmet, they stay secure and balanced without adding unnecessary bulk, and the handheld unit provides flexibility when I need to direct light independently. The power indicator is a helpful feature, especially during longer operations, since it gives clear feedback on remaining battery life rather than leaving you guessing. The rechargeable setup has been convenient and dependable. For anyone needing a durable, high-output dive light that works equally well mounted or handheld, this has been a strong performer in my setup. I’ve trusted it enough to run three of them, which says a lot.

Amazing light quality; stellar customer support
Amazingly bright light, better than more expensive rentals at the dive shop, helps with visibility into coral during the day and spectacular nighttime performance. Unfortunately it seems flaky; the on/off button started working only intermittently after 3 uses and one full recharge following a night dive to only about 45 ft. We are outside the return window and if I could have exhanged it for a “not flaky” one it would have been a 5-star review. I dive warm water (no gloves) but imagine this would be a real hassle in colder water with gloves. UPDATE: the seller contacted me after reading my initial review and offered to refund the purchase price even though the flashlight is outside Amazon’s 30-day return window (I bought it for a 2-week dive trip). I am very impressed by the seller, SENDAI, and have asked instead that they replace the flashlight as I really like it and hope it was just a one-off. Boosted my review to 4-stars for the stellar customer support. I will update this review again after I receive it and have the opportunity to use it underwater again.

Solid product for 40+ dives. Lubricate your o-rings beore assembly for best performance.
Great light. It's been on over 40 dives with me now, and down to over 100' a couple of times and hasn't leaked a drop. It's plenty bright for looking in nooks and crannies during the day and works well on light dives as well. I would solidly recommend this light. One note for folks to ensure a good tight seal: LUBRICATE YOUR O-RINGS BEFORE ASSEMBLY. Any basic silicone lube will work fine. They don't need to be goopy (and shouldn't be). Just put a tiny dot on each o-ring and massage it around so the ring is shiny. That allows the ring to settle into its groove and for the housing to smoothly slide past during assembly. I'd bet a lot of the folks who have leakage problems didn't do this, and the o-rings got pinched or pushed out of their groove on assembly.

SOLID BUILD
I bought 2 but have not done a night dive yet. In the pool 5000 lumens is a good brightness, probably the minimum you should buy. I like to use a light on day dives to look into crevasses and under ledges. It is well built and has 3 o-rings, most others have 2 and this comes with 3 spare o-rings. I like the on / off button as it is not likely to turn on accidentally (compared to a slide or turn switch). The center of the light beam is a little "hot" but totally expected for a 1x LED bulb, so you can't use this for video. I tried two 3000 lumen Orchatorchs, but not bright enough and locking safety switch would only unlock by opening the case and removing the battery (on both lights). Aplos 15000 lumen was about two to three as bright as the 3000 L Orca's, but very heavy and 4x the cost. (It takes 2 to 3 times the lumens to visibly appear twice as bright...google up lumens and brightness). Windfire is a good value for the money, and lightweight enough to be a good travel light...buy 2 to have a backup.

Doesn’t work well underwater.
Light is extremely bright, but the minute it goes underwater it turns off. All the seals are fine, but in order for my light to stay on I have to hold down the power button. As soon as I exit the water, everything functions as normal. The issue underwater is not related to depth or anything like that. Literally just under the surface of water the light turns off. I press the button, it comes on and a few seconds later it turns off. Made my dive trip more difficult and had to share a light with my dive partners. For those suggesting a dead battery, it was fully charged and it worked perfectly on dry land, never turning off. Even turning the light on and then entering the water yielded the same result of the light turning off after a few seconds of being submerged.
