Excellent complement to proper studying.
Initially, while doing the ASQ question banks offered on the site and attempting to utilize this book to answer the questions, I was unimpressed. This book is not intended to be a one stop shop for all the answers you will need to pass the test. However, if you use this book and complete the question banks on the ASQ site and use the results to fill in the knowledge gaps for the things that aren't covered in the book, it is an excellent resource. I took this exact approach and printed out 13 pages of copy and pasted notes on things not covered in depth in the book and took both my printed notes and the book to the test and was able to pass with relative ease and with 45 minutes (out of 138 minutes allowed) remaining. Use it as a study guide and a test reference and you will have no problem passing the test.

Must Buy for CSSYB Exam
The book helps out a lot as a review of the prep course offered by ASQ, and had many of the exam questions in the book (the test is open book so this is huge!)Definitely recommend for anyone taking the CSSYB exam.

I am well prepared for the certification with this book
Great book. It is well written from the expert of Six Sigma himself. I am confident I will be able to take the certification for six sigma with this reference in hand.

Not necessary
I bought the handbook because I was taking the classes online but I probably didn't need to. I used it for the first 4 week session, but I ended up not using it for the rest of the class. It was an interesting read, but I just needed to get my certification. If you go on to get the green belt, maybe it would be useful to have.

Passed CSSYB Exam
I used this book and the ASQ CSSYB Study Guide as review for the exam, and passed it last week. Overall its a very basic coverage of Six Sigma topics. I took the handbook with me to the exam so that I could use it to check my answers since I had extra time. There were a few questions on the exam that the handbook didn't cover in enough detail.

A good book for learning the basics of Lean Six Sigma.
The book is rather thin, but covers all the information one needs. The writing is in a condensed form, but gives lots of examples and background information. I have read many study books that were twice (or thrice) the volume of this handbook, but the Yellow Belt Handbook is all one needs to succeed at the LSSYB-exam!

A Great Buy!
I recieved the book on 4th of November, when the due date was given as 20-27th of November, which was remarkable. The book arrived without any damages and with CD inside.
