TAIGA Women's Polartec-300 Fleece Jacket

It was somewhat large, but it wasn't actually a problem as I was able to add several layers underneath this fleece jacket. I was able to fit a base layer, a fleece sweater, a down vest, and even a light down jacket under this fleece jacket. Kept me warm in -35 weather in the arctic. I have not found another fleece as thick as this one; it's well made...and in Canada. There were times I went outside with this fleece and layers without my outer coat and did okay. As others have stated, Taiga's customer service will confirm with you what size you want on the phone and warn you that it's slightly on the large size. But in case it's helpful to others, I am 5'5", 117 lbs, and I ordered a size 4 and I was able to fit above layers inside the fleece and still fit this fleece inside a long down jacket. So if you wanted a snug fit, probably go another size down.

I rec my Polarfleece 300 today. It is exactly as I expected which is Great!!! I had lived in the white mountains in NH for 4 yrs in the 80's. This is the quality of the fleece we had available to purchase , back then. Now, the consumer is lucky to get a 200, which is not nearly as warm. I have utilized the Northface brand with some success. But as u probably know it was only 200. That purchase was a couple of years ago and the blackest they had was charcoal. Also last year's Northface design has little polar fleece and more of other materials. They want u to buy the outer layer to snap the fleece onto. So it really is not a fleece unto its own. The elbows have worn to an obvious grey. I mention this as I have enough experience with keeping warm and what works and what is obviously a "fashion statement" primarily. I have been looking for 5 yrs for a 300 Polarfleece and nothing compares to this product

Loving my coat! I ordered it a size big so I could layer under it. It is very lightweight but so warm ! The color is great (demin) and it is warm on our very windy, cold days we experience. My tracking info did not update after the 2nd day so after a week of not hearing anything, I got in touch with the company. They were very reassuring and told me to give a couple of days and they thought it would be delivered. It came the next day! I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t like to wear a heavy coat, but likes the warmth of one. As mentioned I other reviews, the company called me to verify size before they shipped.

The person that help me in the Canada Office was the most friendly, knowledgeable, perspectives persons I've dealt with in 15 yrs. Buying items on line. She was absolutely wonderful and made be want to buy from your business again! !!! One of the things that really impressed me about her knowledge? ?? Is she wears the product she is working "FOR" she own the jacket I was buying! !! Different color. ...but the exact jacket! !!! She helped me with sizing . I love talking with her and love her persistent in talking to me personally so I would get the correct size and not have to go through sending it back because it runs small.!!!!

The Customer service is great - they called before shipping to make sure it would fit me. I was able to talk to a representative about the color. The pictures do not do justice to the colors. The Green shown on the Amazon site looks like a bright Kelly Green. It is not. It is Loden or Pine green and is beautiful. The package was due to arrive on December 29th. It arrived on the 19th just in time for Tucson's first freeze. The style and fabric are all I hoped for. It is so soft you want to hug it.

I was looking to replace my old ratty looking fleece jacket and noticed the quality of the jackets by LL Bean and Land's End has markedly declined. Luckily, I found the Taiga Fleece products on Amazon. The quality of their products is outstanding and they verify the sizing of your order before they ship. I decided to go with one size larger so I could wear a heavy sweater or hooded sweatshirt underneath. For me, the sizing was accurate; sleeves may be a tad long but that's not a bad thing since I will have room to tuck my hands inside if they get cold.

Finally, a fleece jacket that fits! I still cant believe it. Its well made and true to size. The Polartec 300 really is way warmer than standard polartec. We keep our house pretty cool in the winter and I've been known to walk around with a jacket on. No more! This light in weight and comfortable zipper jacket is perfect.

This fleece jacket is absolutely wonderful!!! It is so comfortable and fits perfectly! It is so thick and warm that with a hoody underneath I don't need a coat in temperatures below 35 degrees!!! The fleece is not cheap or thin like a lot of other jackets claiming to be thick and warm. The seller called for measurements to confirm the perfect fit and I thought that was great customer service! I love it and hope to get another one in different color!
