SELSEY Romansia – Italian Made Extending Dining Table/Hallway Console/Desk (120 cm, Copper)

When I saw this table, I was impressed with the versatility. It arrived in good time and I paid for the installation. I am so happy with the table. It’s good quality, strong and sturdy. Everyone who sees it has commented on how lovely it looks. The installation service is good and the man who assembled it was very polite and personable. I have the grey table which has a nice stone print textured surface which goes well against my gloss grey kitchen units and it is a great space saver. I would definitely recommend it.

Good product. Very substantial and heavy, so not flimsy in any way. Some slight assembly issues caused by instructions that seemed to be different from the product design (additional support spars underneath threw me off for a minute as to which end I should be doing things and the screw holes for the latch components appeared to be the other way round from the diagram). I don't know if the product design has changed or not but we got there and it works. Nice finish on it. Not sure how hardwearing the veneer will be but looks good. I'd be interested in some actual solid wood versions of the tables in due course.We've used it to replace a permanent table in the dining room. We've put in a TV and sofa and this table can be folded down and moved into the corner when the kids want to watch a film or something.

It is so good, very easy to make, sturdy, looks good. easy to enlarge or shrink, almost perfect. If I were to nitpick the slotting the unused pieces in to the holder at the back is a bit fiddly, but still takes maybe 30 seconds to expand it and 45 to shrink it, a wonder of a design.

As most people say, this is a very nice and very practical table. We were contacted by the delivery team and asked if we wanted them to assemble the table for which they charged £20. I wasn't sure that it needed to be assembled but no big deal. We mainly use it with just one leaf in which state it works well for 2-3 diners. The fourth one has limited leg space as the leaf storage area is on that side - our 9 year old grand-daughter seems OK sitting there so I guess it does work for 4 if one has short legs! One problem in this configuration is that the space between the legs is rather small and our chairs will only just go under the table when not in use. Also, if you have a carpeted floor, there can be a slight gap between the leaf and the end of the table - readily solved if you lift and slide the table into place but it would be better if the leaf locked to the table end and is usually the case with extending tables. This gap can also be caused by the chair under the table forcing the leaf apart from the end. We have the copper table and the finish is really great - looks great, feels great and is a joy to keep clean. We use table mats because that allows the beauty of the table to be seen. We have had the table fully extended a couple of times now and it works brilliantly for 6. I don't think there is a better option on the market for flat dwellers and would highly recommend this table.

The grey table looks great and is really versatile.. Fits perfectly in my small living room. Really pleased. Ordered it in the smallest size in white but it looked cheap and was flimsy so I returned it.Lots of compliments about the grey table. Got the middle size and it’s so sturdy and strong.

This is incredibly solid and heavy. We have not yet used it at full extension, although we have put all the extensions in just to see what it's like. It seems pretty strong and stable even with all of them in, and easily slips into a nice corner when collapsed. The wood is textured and has a beautiful finish. The heaviness can make it a bit difficult to move around and open by yourself, so you might want a hand if you're opening it up or moving it, particularly if you're a smaller person. It might not be something you want to do every day. We use it fully folded most of the time, like a kind of breakfast bar, and only pull it out for special meals or guests. But that was what we always intended, and we're very pleased with it.

Absolutely fantastic table. So versatile and so handy to have so many size options!We had a little miss hap with the instructions, but that was just a daft moment on our behalf as they are very self explanatory and easy to follow.Was well packaged and quickly delivered.Absolutely no problems with the quality at all and it does far exceed expectations.We love it.

Love the versatility of the product, I live in a very small compact space. My sister came up with a great idea of using it as a fireplace when shut.I love the texture of the table, it's look's, the colour and the easiness to open the table.The fact that I can use it for 2 to 6 people. J'ai reçu la table extensible SELSEY Romansia aujourd'hui que j'ai commandée chez SELSEY FRANCE, quelle arnaque !!!!!Elle tient tout juste debout, ce produit ne justifie pas une telle somme, c'est vraiment du n'importe quoi, je suis très déçue et je qualifierai cette ARNAQUE comme du vol manifeste. Je n'ai rien d'autre à ajouter que de la déception.

Der Tisch wurde sehr gut verpackt von einem netten Spediteur geliefert. Beim Auspacken würde ich empfehlen den Karton zu legen. In der Aufbauanleitung sind leider ein paar Unklarheiten (wie z. B. Wie rum sollte man die Tischplatten in die Tischbeine schieben - mit Zapfen nach unten oder oben? - Wir haben uns für unten entschieden. Auch ist unklar auf welcher Seite die Zapfen sein sollten, wenn zum Schluss die Filzpunkte auf eine Tischplatte geklebt werden.) und ein kleiner Fehler (bei der Anbringung der Schnalle unter dem Tisch solltet ihr euch an den Vorbohrungen orientieren, nicht an der Anleitung). Insgesamt ist der Aufbau dennoch gut zu schaffen. Der Tisch ist sehr stabil und macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. O-Ton von meinem Mann: „Ich habe selten so sorgfältig verpackte Möbel und mit so guter Qualität gesehen.“ - Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!

Der Tisch ist einfach so unfassbar schön !! Super leicht aufzubauen & auszuziehen -trotz des Gewichts. Kinderleicht hat man aus einem Konsolentisch einen Esstisch gezaubert, der einen sehr stabilen und qualitativ hochwertigen Eindruck macht.

An sich ein schöner Tisch. Man kann auch gut dran sitzen. Hatte ihn in ganzer Länge noch nicht benutzt. Erstmal in der schmalsten Version, war mir dann doch zu klein 😉Jetzt mit einer Platte. Sitze ich dran beim Homeoffice- klappt gut.Bei der Lieferung war mehr Verpackung als Tisch dabei... da könnte man schon etwas einsparen.Zusammenbau etwas kompliziert, da aber ein Fachmann am Werk war, ging es.

Sehr gute Verarbeitung, Qualität für den Preis in einem guten Leistungsverhältnis, Verpackung platzsparend und sicher, sehr schnelle Lieferung. Der Zusammenbau war unkompliziert und mit der Anleitung gut zu schaffen.
