These are great in general but are definitely not sized for a newborn. Our baby was born 22" and 7.5 lbs so not a small baby and these are still HUGE on him 6 weeks later. Their size is more comparable to other baby clothes marked for 6-9 months.

we really like this set. My grandaughter is due in May which is warm here in texas .. The items are lightweight and perfect for our spring weather. Can't wait to see her in these. Very cute set!
