I haven’t used it but it’s perfect for my 8 year old. He’s been making a suit of armor, a shield and a sword out of cardboard and this has worked well. Way cheaper than the duct tape we went through before. I appreciate the stand it comes with because I don’t have to worry as much about my hardwood floors or counter tops getting burned.

Firstly, this was to replace another small glue gun that finally died after years of service. Right out of the box the instructions says it takes 5-7 minutes to warm up, huh? Actually it took 10 minutes. Also, the glue sticks didn’t want to load in as the back inside was so small I had to push it in hard. It was so tight as a matter of fact that the next glue stick would advance forward. That was it for me! Unplugged and Amazon return. Also the trigger was made of thin flimsy plastic, I knew it wouldn’t last very long even if it had worked. I guess I’ll drive to my local craft store and buy a better one for less money.

The glue gun itself is good, the cord is a little short but not a huge deal, it seems like I can only use the sticks that it came with because I tried the mini glue sticks that are specific for fabric and it wouldn’t really go once the stick was less than half way in, I actually had to stick in another stick (one that came with it) to finish it.

I got the hot glue guns in order to do some crayon art (where you put crayons in the melting chamber instead of glue and create super cool art). It was perfect for this particular project because of the lower heat/power level. The anti-drip chamber was effective and I didn't have melted crayon all over the place. Highly recommend for crayon projects. Also, I am sure this product would work great for its actual purpose.

Ny glue gun was over 15 years old so I saw this one and it was on sale so I bought it. Its the bigger one and it comes with glue. Love the color. Also my old one still works and I gave to my son.

These glue guns work and that’s great. No issues there, but the stand they say will hold up the glue gun and make it easy to stand is a joke. That sucker is so flimsy that if you don’t lay it down just so, it topples over because it’s so light-weight. I’m constantly having to pull the “foot” back out so it will stand. I also feel like the gun doesn’t pull the glue stick through on its own. It always needs a little nudge, but that said, they give you a bag of sticks with the product so that makes up for having to push it through. It does heat the glue stick rather quickly and there was no smell of burning glue like you may experience with other products. I also loved that they had colors to choose from. The price was right for my purpose (craft day), but I don’t think I would buy them again.
