UNO: Blast - Card Game

My family and I love playing uno, now this takes it to another level. Uno is a great game for teaching kids about numbers, colors, and matching but for younger kids it's hard to keep them engaged through a whole game. With this new version, the element of surprise is added. Kids love it when the cards "explode" and are willing to play longer. Great update.

Working with groups of children teaching them social skill I found this game to be very exciting and kept their attention. I wish the packaging was different as it is hard to get it all back in the box sometimes. However, it is a great game for the children I worked with ages 7-17 plus the few young adults I have worked with. It is fast moving.

We are Uno game lovers and usually buy the latest twist on this game. the Blast makes the game suspenseful as you never know how many cards are going to blast your way. I like this better than UNO Attack which had it's mechanical failure problems. s o far, so good.

We bought this game because we love UNO and we thought this would be a fun twist on the game. But the game mechanics actually suck all the fun and playability out of the game. For one thing, the games are really short. We played with three people and our average hand lasted only about 2 minutes. Not kidding. There are too many ways to discard with the addition of the "Discard Color" cards, and the fact that when you draw from the pile, instead of keeping the cards you draw in your hand, you put them into the blaster. Plus the blaster only holds up to five cards, which means the blaster will never spit more than five cards at you at one time. With original UNO, often drawing meant you had to take 10+ cards or more, which made the game last longer. This made the game really unsatisfying. Honestly we probably won't play this game again. I say save your money and just buy regular UNO cards.

The game was broken. It would "blast" non stop. I was not able to use it with the young clients with whom I work. I did not understand that it was broke and thus I threw away the packaging material. I was disappointed because I knew the children were looking forward to playing a new version of UNO.

Its Uno whats not to love? Ok its a little loud when it ejects the cards but we got used to that pretty quickly. We love Uno in this house and have almost a dozen different forms of the game. When i saw this at the store i knew i had to have it but at almost $35 it was going to have to wait. Then one day i spied it on Amazon for a little over $16 and knew we had to have it. We have added it to our family game day rotation. :)

A great variation on the original. My 4 kids ( ages 9,7,4,1) love it. The youngest doesn't follow the cards, per se, but love the "blast". The rules and some cards are different than the traditional game, but still easy to pick up and play.

Uno ist ein Gesellschaftspiel, welches es heute in verschiedenen Arten gibt. Diese Version besteht aus einer Maschine die Karte heraus schießt. Für uns war dieses Uno nicht.

Mais UNO Extrème reste quand même la meilleur pour l'instant. Sinon fonctionne bien et amusant aussi. A recommandé pour une soirée en famille ou avec des amis.

We are big fans of the game & look for new variation each Xmas; this has been one if the better ones. Also not bulky for storage either. Simple rules so our 4-year old plays easily but adults still enjoy.

Bought at Xmas for the kids as they already liked playing Uno as a card game. They love it, makes the game a bit different and more interesting and gives us fun family time together.
