I’ve been using a Filofax (personal organiser size) for about 35 years - it’s still in excellent condition (and has some sentimental value). I’ve looked on several occasions for an A5 organiser of similar quality and never found one. This looked like the ideal solution and so I bought it with relatively low expectations about the quality because it’s so much cheaper than the Filofax equivalent which I think is only ok from a leather quality perspective. I’m so happy I took the risk - it’s absolutely superb. I didn’t pay too much attention to the inserts because I treat them as a consumable but they are very high quality and a bonus. But the real point of the purchase is the leather organiser - it’s just great. Feels great, looks great, smells great and I suspect it will wear very nicely.

I found it hard to find just the right binder, I wanted the pen loop on the outside ideally because being on the inside makes the book bigger by quite a lot, but on the other hand it does protect the pen in my bag, so it’s growing on me. It’s very high quality leather, well stitched. If you’re after a “forever” notebook cover it’s a good pick. I would have preferred plain or dotted paper in it, I didn’t need the calendar stuff.

This is my third item from Wanderings. As always the leather quality is great. It is well made and well thought out. I use it with Filofax inserts as my diary. The leather will age and show use, but, in my opinion that adds to its appeal. Compared to other similar items it is very good value for money. I would definitely recommend it and having purchased other leather items from this company I can attest to their durability.

This is a very good product, I wanted a quality genuine leather ring Diary cover that allows you to replace the pages every year instead of buying a new diary & this fits the bill. The leather has a nice vintage look & is quite thick so should last for many years. It has some handy pockets for cards, tickets papers etc, a pen holder, an elastic fastener and will come in useful for travelling/holidays as a journal. The inner pages are good quality with some useful sections but the rings will take standard A5 6 hole refills so you have a choice where to get diary refills from. Would have given 5 stars but the delivery was later than stated (over 6 weeks) & they sent me a dated diary when I ordered an undated one (it gave you the option when ordering).

Absolutely fantastic quality, nice soft leather that’s going to wear and mark with use, I love it. The fact it comes with a 2026 AND 2027 diary was a surprise !

After having a Filofax Personal for many years, which gave great service, I decided a change, in size as much as anything, was overdue. I have leather A4 binders and folders, so wanted something smaller than A4, but perhaps a bit bigger than the Personal. At first I considered another Filofax, but when I spotted the Wanderings A5, I was intrigued. I went for it, and I’m delighted with my choice! The Journal is very nicely made, with soft, supple leather, solid fittings, and a delightful aroma. The size is perfect for my needs, the supplied inserts very versatile, and the method of closure works so well. And the price was just right too! So I can definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a journal/organiser/diary which looks great, smells great, and isn’t too big to lump around!

I absolutely love this binder. I was toying with buying a Filofax but saw this and liked the fact it was a bit different but would still serve the same purpose. I also adore the leather which is going to wear beautifully over time and looks really stylish. I am so enjoying personalising and using this organiser on a day to day basis and would thoroughly recommend it.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Good looking and well made item. Leather is excellent quality and has a rustic look. Price is very good and looks excellent value for money - bonus is that it takes Filofax items - would recommend !

Exactement ce que j'attendais. Je suis très satisfaite. On peut y mettre ce qu'on veut : agenda, papier de note, intercalaires, pochettes plastifiées, cartes de tout type. C'est au choix de chacun. J'aime le design et il me semble solide, mais ça nous verrons avec le temps. De plus, il tient parfaitement dans un sac à main.
