Low Acid Coffee for Keurig K-Cup Brewers, 100% Colombian Supremo, 12 Count (Limited Edition)

Hi,I just had my first cup of Healthwise Columbian Supreme low acid coffee. So far so good. I adopted a low acid diet because of respiratory reflux. I suffer from chronic laryngitis and acid vapor further compounded the problem. Recently I had laser surgery on my vocal chords and now I really have to watch the acids! The coffee is good. It’s smooth, not bitter at all, and I’m so grateful to have it. Tomorrow I plan to brew it with alkaline water and this should make it even better (pH 8). I’m not a big coffee consumer, but having that one cup in the morning is something I enjoy. I’m glad to have it back.FYI: according to their website the pH level of the coffee is 6.1 (traditional coffee is 5.2). This is good. According to Dr. Jaime Kaufman and the book Acid Reflux Diet (recommended by my ENT and vocal therapist) a pH level of 7 is considered neutral so if you have a problem with acid you want pH levels above 7. The pH scale is logarithmic, so one point is 10 times more or less. I hope this review helps.

This coffee is a lifesaver! I have really bad GERD and I had to stop drinking coffee for a short time. It was short because I immediately started searching for a low acid coffee. Why not? They make everything else, right! I found this on Amazon, took a leap of faith, and purchased it. I did not experience any of the throat burn or heartburn I did with regular coffee. It also tastes very good and is a nice medium roast coffee. I was so excited to know I could continue with my morning cup of coffee. I have been drinking this for about a month now...not one issue. This is the first product I ever created a subscription for on Amazon. I even ordered a can vice the K-Cups to take w/me on vacation. I don't want to be without it!

This coffee is perfect for those with acid reflux--I haven't had any issue's so far! It's mild yet still flavorful and meets my coffee needs without all the acid. The price is reasonable and I have signed up for the automatic monthly subscription and shipping so I never run out!

I buy this coffee for my 89 year old mother as she has acid reflux. Price was hiked from $11.20 to $18.35 per box. The price was hiked with no notice a couple of months ago, but got an alert this month to tell me of the price hike. A bit late after charging me the new price for the last two months! I have this on a subscription and buy 5 boxes a month and have done so for nearly a year. I will be looking for another comparable coffee.

My husband and I both suffer from acid reflux. I had a friend tell me about low acid coffee and I thought that might be a good alternative, because I am absolutely not giving up coffee. So after reading many reviews, I settled on this brand. It tastes like a sadness. Normally coffee makes me feel happy. Yes, I know that’s a reaction to the caffeine. Hello. That’s why I drink it. My stomach was not happy after drinking this coffee. I tried it a few times & always the same result. Left me feeling like I’d drunk sadness and was left with a large rock in my stomach.

I'm afraid this coffee is a total bust for me.Taste - I've tried a lot of different coffees over the last 25 years, including two other low acid coffees and this ranks up there amongst the worst tasting. To me, it neither smells nor tastes like coffee.Effect on acid reflux - ok, so this is the true test. This coffee gave me moderate to severe acid reflux within 10 minutes of drinking it every single time - I tried 12 kcups. It's astonishing really, because regular coffee only gives me acidity sometimes. This "low acid" terrible tasting stuff guarantees it.Price - way higher than regular coffee.Zero stars from me, there are no redeeming qualities.

Both the ground coffee as well as the brewed coffee has a distinctive smell that evokes thoughts of a cat's litter box. Seriously!I bought the coffee because one week out of the month, I had to refrain from consuming acidic foods and beverages. Being a true coffee hound, I thought this formulation was the answer. Not even close... even when I really wanted a dose of caffeine, the most I could choke down was about half a cup. Truly awful stuff!

1) ordered TWO boxes of white rimmed K-cups of HealthWise Low Acid coffee and instead received an entire box of ‘Fleetwood (Dining Car Blend)’ coffee inside a HealthWise box! Quite Deceptive and creepy!!!2) Other box’s coffee pods matched name on box- BUT NOT WHITE RIMMED!I had called Keurig after the Orange rimmed K-Cups didn’t work and they said even older machines like mine are now programmed to only accept White Rimmed K-cups... regardless if the box itself has a ‘K’ on it.3) supplier deserves an ‘F’ report card for misleading and deliberate switching of product.
