Better than you think
What an amazing figure!! Just got him yesterday and I'm very pleased with my purchase. It is very detailed and will executed. He comes with a few extra set of different hands, blast effects, light up features, a nice base and two stands (one articulated). The paint is beautiful and the die cast is a nice touch. It had really good articulation considering is a 6 inch for die cast figure.....comicave is doing amazing things,if you're familiar with hot toys, or sh figuarts, them you'll love this figure, pick him up!

Really good Iron Man armor with a few flaws.
A really nice movie Iron Man Armor. The Shotgun armor is one of the ones seen in the finale of IM3. It is sometimes referred to as the Hypervelocity Armor, Hypersonic, or Intercontinental or Balistic Armor. Basically a long range high speed suit designed to get anywhere in the world fast. The downside being it was lightly armed and armored compared to the main combat suits.Comicave does a nice job with this figure. The sculpt is sharp. It is almost pure metal and very weighty. The articulation is decent. Elbows and knees are doubly hinged with moving covers. Hips pull down ala SH Figuarts. Waist and abdomen is ok, not great. Shoulders are a bit limited with no real pull out cross chest jointing. The only real fail is the head. Due to the lighting it can only look up and down. No side to side swivel. And the look up is extremely limited. Not sufficient for flight poses. The figure comes with a nice stand that uses a very robust waist clamp. It's a little too intrusive for my tastes, but holds the heavy figure securely. The stand has parts for either standing or posed flight display. Other accessories are a plethora of hands and three jet exhaust effects parts. One large for the thruster backpack and two small for the hands. They look great, but the hand ones don't peg in real securely. A noteworthy detail on the head is the sliding trans black outer visor that can slip down over the eyes. There are also some moving thruster panels on the rear of the legs. The electronic effects look good, but are finicky. My switch is flaky and takes a lot of fiddling to turn on. Changing the batteries requires splitting the figure at the waist. The figure includes a small screwdriver for inserting the batteries, and a microfiber polishing cloth. I assume that is standard for the line, although a bit pointless with the matte black colors of shotgun. The figure is a standard 1/12 size action figure, so roughly the same size as SH Figuarts, Figma and Marvel Legends for display. Sharp eyed fans will note that Shotgun shares the same mold/body as the Shades stealth armor. Fun comic fact the Hypervelocity suit was originally an outer suit that fit over the Stealth suit. Iron Man used the two to quickly get to and infiltrate the Soviet Union during the Armor Wars in order to reclaim or destroy Stark tech being used in the Crimson Dynamo.Sadly Comicave has just cancelled three announced Iron .Man armors, and would seem to not be doing well. Which is a shame. They were the only ones doing some of the more distinct and oddball armors.

Has its flaws, but still most definitely worth the money
This figure had me skeptical for quite some time; over the years, I've become very picky as a collector- I liked to purchase things that I knew could last long with me, or things that I could place on my desk without taking up too much space. But that's enough of talking about myself as a collector, this review is for the collectible diecast figure. After watching some reviews on Youtube, I finally made the decision to purchase it. Receiving the package in person opened up my eyes a bit more. The packaging for the figure is beautiful; great art on the box and the opening flap for the "preview" of the figure is definitely a great touch. When I opened the packaging and took all the accessories and figure out of it, I absolutely loved this figure. Holding the Shotgun up close and in person was way different from simply seeing it on a Youtube video, obviously. Despite it being a 6-inch figure, the amount of diecast on it (75% diecast) makes it feel like a masterpiece, along with the absolutely flawless paint job. It's such a beauty to look at- it's so hefty and then the LED light-up function just makes it feel like you're holding a real-life replica of a scaled down Iron Man armor. The blast accessories and different hands just is a classic as well as most figures should come with, I do love how they made a particular pair of hands that have a specifically molded port for the blast effects to be placed in securely. My favorite one is that they made a blast effect that can be placed on his back thruster so you can replicate the epic recovery the Shotgun armor did in Iron Man 3 when Killian pushed Stark off the platform. To top it off, the base and stand that it comes with just makes it feel so authentic- not to mention that two different stands come with the figure. One transparent rod and then an adjustable stand so you can put the Shotgun armor in flying poses.Moving on to the articulation, this is where I have to take off a star unfortunately. As I saw in the several Youtube reviews that I watched, this figure is not so articulated, particularly the torso. This is mainly because of Comicave releasing this as their first figure first of all, and also because of the LED battery pack in the torso that lights up the optics and Arc reactor. The head has extremely limited movement, the most it can do is look downwards and ever so slightly to the left and right. The arms are fine, they could just be a bit more bendable. However, the legs have fairly great articulation, they have a feature of when you pull them downwards, you have the option to move the legs upwards and backwards 90 degrees, same with the bend in the knees. All in all, this figure has turned out to impress me- I don't intend on playing with this guy all too much as he is a special diecast figure, so the Shotgun in his flying pose sitting on my desk suffices to no extent. I am absolutely impressed with Comicave redeeming the 1/12 scale line from Playimaginative's incident. I am looking forward to seeing whether I can grab the Silver Centurion figure, as that's the only other figure I'd love to purchase from Comicave Studios. So with all of this said, I totally recommend this figure, long story short.

Comicave Iron Man is the way to go!
Iron Man Shotgun is remarkable, mostly because he is 75% die-cast metal. He feels and weighs like Iron Man should. Not only that, his eyes and chest light up through powerfully bright LED lights. Why don't other makers do that too? The battery compartment is inside his chest, very convenient and unobtrusive. Comicave Studios is a leader in this field.

I highly recommend! They are like 1/12 scale hot toys/sideshow figures
I love this figure, its my first from comicave and love it, I haven't had any problems with it at all, only downfall to me, is that it is missing the light up base like others from the line. After this one, I purchased the war machine Mark II and I love out also and have had no issues whatsoever. I love these 75% alloy figures, they are so much like hot toys. Next Im ordering Igor and so on.............I highly recommend! These are as close as you can Get to a 6 inch:1/12 scale hot toy iron man. The only downside is now I have to collect them all, and I'm as poor as a church mouse..........poorer........lol!

Shotgun is bad*** looking!
Shotgun is simply bada** looking! The only issue I take with it is the head articulation is not very good. Otherwise, I repeat, Shotgun is bada** looking.

Awesome to be able to get some of the Iron Legion suits! 6 inch size and the same scale as SH Figuarts. A lot cheaper than Hot Toys 12 inch size
