Bamix SliceSy Grating Bowl for Mixer, Plastic, 1 Litre, Black

Made coleslaw with the medium grater and will now never buy it from a supermarket again. I only used a quarter of an onion which turned out right as although I made a large bowlfull, you could still taste the onion. I added a small desert spoon of mayonnaise which was more than enough for a large helping. I had the slicesy years ago and needed a food processor but wanted one that didn't have loads of different parts to wash, the blades are easy to clip in and out. It's compact and doesn't take up a lot of room. I found it easy to clean, but you can't submerge the top in water as it contains the workings of the processor, so I'm pleased with the slicesy.

Love it needed this accessory. However I would recommend everyone to buy the Bamix baking set where it is included. I had to buy this part and in the end payed 100 + more than I would have done had I opted in the first instance for the BAMIX Baking Set

I wanted this for shredding veg etc. Only criticism is bowl is quite small and feeder tube also. Need to chop veg to fit.

The first thing that struck me that it is not fit for purpose is the small diameter of the shute. Even halving a cucumber depending on size is the only way one would fit down the shute, larger cucumber you would need to quarter. On an advert I saw, it showed the Slicesy with WHOLE cucumber slices by it's side. Absolutely no way had those slices been made by the Sllicesy. I'm amazed no one has reported this to the ASA! For cucumber slices I will have to carry on using the hand operated spiraliser I purchased for £14.99 from LakelandThe second is the badly thought out safety cover for the blade. That blade is lethal however the safety cover is very difficult to manoeuvre in fitting on, and even more for taking off. How that passed any health and safety tests, I'll never know. First time I used it I needed plasters! I have learned to respect it, a plus point is that it makes a very clean cut :-)I use it for mixing small amounts of pastry, it is efficient in this regard apart from the safety aspect, it easier to clean than using a large food mixer.The Bamix itself is used by professional chefs, according to the ads and youtube presentations, but no way would something like this expensive add on would be used by professionals. It's handy for small amounts of pastry, but for around £100, is it worth it? For my money never in a million years.

The headline needs little adding, other than to say it's that fantastic Bamix quality that if you know, you'll love.

The feed is totally useless for anything but the thinnest of pieces. I had t cut a potato into eights in order to get it to fit.

Best tool I've ever had in my kitchen. There isn't a working day in the kitchen without using my Bamix. This tool especially does perfectly the work with no need to take out my big food processor.

Ho scelto questo frullatore e i suoi accessori perché mi trovo bene ma purtroppo non posso più parlare di qualità soprattutto in funzione del prezzo pagato molto alto . Ho già avuto quattro episodi per rottura degli accessori o dei motori poco dopo la garanzia legale o i termini scaduti di reso . Ormai ho tutti i pezzi e la funzionalità mi piace quindi purtroppo continuerò a spendere per acquisto di un pezzo nuovo ma non posso più consigliarlo

L’accessorio aggiunge le funzionalità di un piccolo food processor al Bamix: il coltello consente di sminuzzare e triturare, una generosa serie di lame da inserire in un disco di supporto consente di affettare, tagliare a julienne e grattugiare. Le dimensioni sono molto pratiche per un uso quotidiano in cucina, gli accessori si montano facilmente e sono lavabili in lavastoviglie. Sarebbe perfetto, se fosse stato progettato meglio. La nota dolente è il coperchio-motore, cioè la parte superiore in cui si innesta l’asta del Bamix: si sporca facilmente con il cibo inserito nel processroe, sia quando si usa la lama a coltello sia con l’uso del disco ad elementi intercambiabili, ma non è lavabIle. È possibile solamente pulirlo superficialmente con un panno appena umido, che non consente, tuttavia, una pulizia adeguata, come sarebbe necessario per l’igiene in cucina. È un peccato, perché potrebbe essere un accessorio molto utile nelle operazioni quotidiane in cucina.
