BY THE TIME YOU REALIZE HOW BAD THESE ARE, IT'LL PROBABLY BE TOO LATE TO GET A REFUND.
I for the life of me cannot understand why someone would come here to positively review tire chains without ever having actually used them, but MANY people on here have done exactly that. Please ignore the reviews from people who simply opened the box and thought "Hey, these look decent enough" and then come here to give this product 5 stars; This is just irresponsible.I, myself am usually not one to come back to write bad reviews, but this experience has been a complete nightmare; and since I ordered these back in November (BEFORE the snow began coming down), there's no way for me to get a refund. As such, I want to warn everyone that these tire chains are COMPLETELY inadequate, unsafe, and destructive to your vehicle.Firstly, the installation, although not particularly difficult, is certainly way more time consuming than traditional chains. Do not buy these thinking they will save you any installation headaches, they will not.The main problem here is quite simply the build quality. As soon as you drive with these on, they slip and bunch up. I did a short test run at slow speeds (under 5mph) and then re-adjusted the tension (as the straps did stretch and loosen up within a couple hundred feet). Once the adjustments were made, I THOUGHT I was home free.I was not.I needed to make a short (approximately 2 mile) trip in deep snow and I had installed two sets of these (12 total pieces). Never exceeding 15 miles per hour for the entire trip ... 5 out of the 12 completely broke. The straps just snapped off. Luckily I was at such low speeds that I didn't end up completely destroying my wheel wells as many other reviewers have, but if I'd have been going even a little bit faster I can absolutely see that happening to me too. These chains are not only a waste of your money, they are a safety hazard. BY THE TIME YOU REALIZE THIS FOR YOURSELF IT WILL PROBABLY BE TOO LATE TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK! Do not put yours or your family's life at risk and instead either avoid driving in the snow or spend the small amount extra to get *real* and *reliable* auto-tensioning tire chains.

WARNING - DANGEROUS, DESTROYED MY WHEEL LINING 2000$+ IN DAMAGES
Installed the chains in snowy -32f roads here in Tahoe, CAI followed all instructions and even did a test install before heading out. With chains installed, I drove carefully at under 10mph to test them out. After 20 seconds or less I heard the the chains snap and scrap along my wheel well/lining.I was lucky to be able to pull over on a turn out almost instantly after hearing the noise, but the damage was done. The chains completely tore my wheel/finder/liner/Abs Break sensor cables right off! Over 2000$+ in damages.I was lucky the car was still drivable and in daylight. It could have been much, much worse! The Chains literally fell apart! One broke completely and the others looked chewed up after on less than a minute on the road.STAY AWAY from this dangerous product! It's not worth your safety. Here's the kicker. Before even posting here I contacted the manufacturer about the events that happened and asking for covering the damages their product cause.Their response" Thanks for choosing us and sorry for inconvenience, it’s not our usual standard and I understand how frustrating this issue must be. Really sorry for it. And we would like to make full refund for you, please contact us through amazon, we will make full refund for you.And at the same time, we will make great feedback and improvement of our snow chains by making great feedback to our factory suppliers."WHAT A JOKE.A company that doesn't stand or take responsibility for their product tells you all you need to know.

Great insurance. If you can't get out with these on, you need a helicopter
Nothing to dislike.I've had these in the past. They get you out of steep driveways that ice over,. Or in mud off-roadThey don't say they work in the mud,. Buy trust me,. They do.I've been stuck in mud at my races, and when 4wd isn't working, these willNot sure why my video won't load

Good in a pinch but not for road driving.
The tire straps didn’t work our as well as I had hoped. It got me back and forth twice then they got tangled up and I had to cut them off the truck. The buckles twisted and took some paint off the rims. These would probably be good for someone with a smaller car. I installed them this morning and had to cut them off by 3pm after less then a mile at 10 to 15 mph.My opinion is they are 50$, get them and keep them in case you get stuck, then take them back off. Keep off the main roads with them.Anyway, guess I’ll just have to knuckle down and get decent quality tires. Good test though.

Easy installation chain
These are mot your same ol’ conventional tire snow chain, this manufacturer took this chain to next level. I personally have never snow chain like this so I ordered it and I hope to try it out soon as I live in boulder colorado and will need this if I want to go to mountains for ski. It seems like installation is pretty straightforward and comes in anice bag and include gloves that you would need during snow season.

Invest in some chains
These things are mostly junk. First of all, if you think they’re going to be easier to install than chains, think again. Installing all 6 is a lot of work, and you need all 6 installed for them to work correctly. Second, they don’t hold together at all, cheap fabric ratchet straps mounted to plastic. The only reason I gave them any stars is because they will get you unstuck in an emergency. If you’re already stuck and can’t roll, you can install these where you wouldn’t be able to install chains. If you just want single use emergency only, maybe worth buying
