For real review. Wisconsin resident 2 Long hair Cats.
Idk why ppl are saying this doesn't work. I live in Wisconsin. Hot wet humid summers. I use this stuff every 28-30 days and I walk BOTH my cats Twice a Day IN THE WOODS in the tall grass and bring them back inside since they are indoor cats - I check their fur each time THOROUGHLY for any bugs, grass, ticks, flees and NOTHING. Only 1 time in 3 years have I found 1 tick and it was sitting on top of the fur - it was Dying!!I plucked it off with a tissue and never found another since.THIS STUFF WORKS GREAT!!! No. I'm NOT paid for this review.

Worth every penny!
This is not the first time I purchased an Amazon basics product for my cats! The application is easy and my cats never seem to have an issue with the medication. I started living with my in-laws who have an inside/outside dog and every once in a while I would see a flea on my cats. This has helped them tremendously with flea control. They go from itching one day to flea free the next. No more spending an outrageous amount of money at the vet for topical flea medication! I will continue to use this product for my cats.

Has NO effect on fleas...**DON'T BOTHER**
One of our cats had a flea infestation and the most common product to try first is Front Line Plus. I saw Amazon Basics had a comparable product that was supposed to be the same product for a more reasonable price. The cat was having a severe allergic reaction to the fleas and was losing hair and had open sores on her back. She was pretty miserable.I ordered the product based on the apparent good rating and number of reviews without looking closely at the actual reviews. that was a mistake. I got the product and applied it as directed. I waited for 24 hours and kept an eye on the flea activity on her bare spot. After 24 hours, there was no effect on the fleas at all, and they just kept getting worse. I thought maybe it was just taking more time to start working. I kept monitoring the flea activity, and 48 hours, then 72 hours, then a full week passed with no change at all. I thought I had maybe not applied enough directly to her skin, or there was an issue with the dose I used, so I actually re-treated her early after about a week, and was very careful to get it all on her skin while applying it while she was sleeping. Another week passed and the fleas just got worse. We have two other cats in the household and they started having fleas show up on them, and all three cats are indoor cats that have had no flea issues in their lifetime (10 years+). I treated the other two cats with the same product, was very careful to get it all on their skin, and the results were the same after a week. The fleas just increased in number and there was not a single dead flea to be found when combing. I ended up having to get a different topical treatment and Capstar pills to treat the adult fleas. The Capstar worked like a charm and fleas were dropping off and dying after 30 minutes to an hour. I'm not sure if the company that makes this product for Amazon is having issues with quality control, dosing, or what, but I'll never try their brand flea products again. Buyer beware.

Work as good as frontline
You can watch as fleas get hyperactive while eventually dying. It will kill any flea that gets on the cat. With that said, you do need to reapply monthly in order to completely eradicate fleas in the home. You need to treat the home as well. You'll keep seeing occasion fleas until they are completely erraticated from your house. Wash all bed linens in hot soapy water and vacuum and treat your carpets, rug and any furniture where fleas and their egg can be hiding. Before applying the treatment, I recommend giving your cat a flee bath or flea comb. Make sure the cat is completely dry after the bath before applying. When bathing the cat, it's best to start with a thick ring of soap around the neck to prevent fleas from swarming the cats head as the body is submerged.

Sensitive Skin Cats be careful
I think this may have worked to kill the fleas on my cat, he didn’t have a large infestation to begin with. However, I think my cat may have sensitive skin because it made his hair fall out where we placed it. We did split the hair in the nap of his neck to apply directly to his skin but regardless he did loose a big chunk of hair there. Same has happened before when we used a flea collar, so I think it may just be that he’s sensitive to topical flea treatments. So please be careful if you know your cat has sensitive skin. Mind you he doesn’t seem uncomfortable at all, there’s just chunks of his hair around the house now that we keep finding and he has a bald spot :/

A no-brainer!
I've been working over top dollar for Frontline because I'm scared to give anything else. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this contains the same ingredient and the high dollar one! Put this on both my gals with no problem! So far can't find a single flea on them after combing! Not sure why it has any negative reviews! I'll be a life long customer for sure!

Seems to work
I have several cats and wanted to find an affordable solution to control fleas. This flea medication seems to do the trick. As it gets warmer we sometimes see some of the cats get fleas. We are now doing this medicine preventively and haven’t had any issues
