ZiplocQuart Freezer Bags - 54-Count

These are great freezer bags. Close easily and stay closed as some of the cheap brands pop open. I was disappointed that they arrived with my other items in my order and the box was just about destroyed. Nothing else was crushed, just the Zip Lock bags.

My favorite feature is the white section on each bag I can label with a regular ball point pen the contents and expiration date. I use these mostly for loose food I put in the freezer. Thought a ball point which was all I had available at the time would not write on the bag's label section but surprisingly it was almost as natural as writing on paper so no permanent marker necessary. I have 2 small complaints. The zipper of the bag doesn't always catch on the first try. So I must check if it sealed after closing and if not continue to retry until it catches. Also the edges of each bag along the top corners detach easily compromising the seal. The bag itself appears to be made well for food at least. I can't comment on how it would hold up to pointy objects though such as screws but for left over freezer food I recommend this product.

I like the product and price but need a refund mine came destroyed.

I have used these bags for many years and really love them. They are excellent for keeping foods fresh. I usually put the item/s in the bag then get as much air out as I can, then zip it shut, ready for the freezer.A shout out to the vendor for getting these to me in timely fashion!

I prefer the other type closure.

Value for my money

I use these quart Zip-loc bags not only for freezer storage but for any item that needs to be kept closed, such as children's crayons, hair clips, etc. The double strip makes me confident that any liquid (yes, I do use them for freezing stock, etc.) will not leak in my freezer. I always have a spare box handy since I would not think of using a different freezer bag.

I use this product for putting up large amounts of food into the freezer,that I know will be used up within 6 months. When the food is put inside,I close the bag 3/4 of the way. Then I squeeze and roll out as much airas I can, then finish closing the zipper. The bags are thick enough toprotect the food and works well enough for my needs.
