Brady Authentic (M21-750-595-GN) All-Weather Vinyl Label for Indoor/Outdoor ID, Lab and Equipment Labeling, White on Green- For M210, M210-LAB, M211, BMP21-PLUS and BMP21-LAB Printers, .75" W, 21' L

This is a genuine Brady tape. When I first used it, I noticed the thin white tape on top that's used to transfer the white lettering onto the blue background does not automatically peel off the way it does on most other tapes I have. I say "most" because this has happened to me before with one or two of the other tapes I have. On short labels, it shouldn't be much of a problem, but on longer ones, it could be. The biggest problem would be if that thin tape gets tangled inside the printer, which has happened to me with the other tapes. Sometimes when it gets jammed inside the printer, the tape will come out with missing characters or parts of characters. On a long label, this would be a waste of tape. I haven't had this happen with this tape yet because I haven't had it long enough or used it much. But there is that potential.

The actual product unquestionably is a 5-star product. The labels are durable, easy to read and apply with relative ease. (If you have large hands or thick fingers, removing the label from its backing may prove nettlesome, since there isn't much of a tab to pull away. Of course, less tab inevitably means more label surface.)Users should be aware that you'll need to separate the label from its backing by using a finger nail, so if you cut or keep your finger nails short, actually getting to the printed label might cause you some fits and annoyances.The sole reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is because these cartridges do not hold a lot of label tape, and the manufacturer does not provide any estimates of how long the tape will last before one runs out.I accept the inherent trade off in having the Brady system: the ease of use comes with the cartridge system, and there is a limit to how much tape Brady can put in a cartridge.I also accept mileage may vary: I'd just started a huge labeling project and since I wasn't sure I'd bought the correct item, I bought only 1 cartridge.Still, the amount of labeling tape you get (especially in a primary cartridge like black writing on a white label) seems a little low for the price. I just wish Brady had a system where heavy users could recycle the empty cartridges in exchange for a discount on future tape purchases.The the 1 star demerit solely is for the relatively little amount of product you get for the price. The product itself is a 5 star product.One final note: Assume that you're using these for permanent or long-term labeling. The adhesive Brady uses for its labels is VERY effective, and it will leave a residue on whatever surface you put the label on once it sets (about 60 to 75 seconds).

This label tape is AMAZING! I label all of my kids water bottles, lunch boxes, fabric toy boxes, binders, pen pouches, etc. The most amazing revelation was that after over a year of this tape being on my boys' stainless steel water bottles and running them through the dishwasher at least weekly, the dang tape is STILL ON and not peeling off or faded. They don't market this as waterproof, but standing up to the high heat of the sanitize cycle of my dishwasher over 50 times says something to me!

I have used these for quite a while but it seems the quality has gone way downhill. On my most recent order I installed it in the printer and went to generate a label and it would not advance. The printer went through the motions like it was printing but nothing came out, I ejected the Brady cart and found that the label was bound up in the machine and the black "ink" portion was broken and not advancing on to the storage wheel. Essentially this cart is useless and can't be used or fixed. I am trying other brands of labels going forward.

I live a block from the ocean and everything here fades, rusts or rots, except for these labels. I used the Brady labels four years go to label my pool equipment (see photo taken today). The black paint on the water lines is fading off, but the Brady labels look like brand new.

These are good labels, especially if you go to compare them to what else is out there. I pulled one star because of that nagging feeling I get every time i order them that I just don't get many labels out of each roll that you think you would. I have the bmp21 plus label machine and it doesn't allow you to trim all the way down to the edge of the writing because of the design. You could say that is not the label but the machine and I could say that is not a brake problem, but the cars issue. It feeds the fire.They tend to hold up pretty well as long as you are smart enough to get the surface clean beforehand. This label system helps us stay organized and we do love it.

I’d give them 5 stars if they can figure out a way to make them foolproof and not ruin the whole cassette if you don’t set the right size on the labeler, and you try to print. I’ve got two rolls that my helpers tried to load and ruined. Other brands read the size when you insert them. Also, they are costlier than Dymo or Brother labels. I had to go out and buy another labeler and labels to finish a job because Brady labels are hard to find.

I've been using my BMP21-PLUS for about five years now and have used up several print cartridges in that time period without any problems. I purchased this latest cartridge (B-595 Black on White Vinyl, 0.375" x 21') and installed it as usual. However, when I tried to print the label it failed to exit the device. I took the cartridge out and noted that the black printer ribbon had bunched up and was blocking the opening for the label to exit. I tried to roll the take-up reel for the printer ribbon, but it would not roll. It appears as if the printer take-up reel is jammed, making the cartridge unusable. I am hoping this is a one time event.

Works well. Expensive but much better than noname products which I have tried before.
