St. Louis Crafts 36 Gauge Aluminum Metal Foil Roll, 12 Inches x 10 Feet (Fоur Paсk)

This is essentially super heavy-duty aluminum foil. Apparently, it is used for embossing but can have many other uses, as well. I am using it to make windscreens for backpacking stoves. Much less expensive than store-bought (<$2 each) and as easy as folding. Cuts fine with household scissors, and I used a hole-punch with no problems.

I am a mixed media artist working with embossed metal to make mixed media collages. All the colors in this product line are great and do not rub off even with intense embossing action. Because I paint many of my embossed pieces with several layers of various specialty acrylic paints, I find myself using the silver (uncolored) roll more and more. Most important thing to know about the silver is that it is the best buy of all the colors because it is 36 gauge and the colors are 38 gauge. DON'T BE CONFUSED -- THE LOWER THE NUMBER OF GAUGE, THE THICKER THE METAL.

By wraping a cardboard box on the outside or lining it on the inside, this aluminum foil makes a sturdy and effective faraday cage to help protect electronics from EMP or solar damage.

It's a very thick aluminum foil. It can be cut with scissors, but it is sharp and you may cut yourself. Small children should not use this for craft projects.

Great for my cosplay project! Cuts easily with shears and it amenable to being worked with. Wound up being just what I needed

This stuff was so easy to use that I did two art projects with 27 4th graders and one art project with 26 1st graders. They loved drawing on metal and see how the two different sides felt. We turned all their art projects into ornaments.

I used this as a template around a cooktop replacement that did not fit well. There was a gap around the cooktop that had to be filled for aesthetic reasons as well as that food might fall down the sides. I used the foil to shape what I gave a metal worker to manufacture in sturdier stainless steel. The metal worker did not have to make a house call, he only had to make in stainless what I had fashioned in sturdy foil. The foil was perfect for this effort.

Works in my Cricut Maker for debossing. Very cool.
