Elderberries are Easy
Boiled berries on low 20 minutes. Strained them into cup. Easily wiped berries out of pot. Added honey! Recipes for tea and syrup are on bag. It's so much cheaper than buying premade syrup!!The berries change the water to a densely saturated color. It is not like a "normal" watery tea that you can see through. Before adding the honey, the tea has an earthy kind of flat flavor. Not what one would expect from the deeply colored liquid. When the honey is added it seemed to enhance a lot of the berries subtle flavors. I enjoyed the taste. I don't enjoy overly sweet drinks or syrups, so this works great for me.For a pound of berries, the value is also great compared to others on Amazon. Quality-wise, you're always going to get a few discolored berries and tiny twigs. There aren't a lot in this bag but to think you're going to buy elderberries without getting a few of those things is crazy. It's super easy to just dig one or two out from your teaspoon when you throw it into your pot.

Good product
I have bought many different brands of elderberries over the past 4 years and I think this brand is the highest quality for the cost. It has fantastic scent, taste, and aroma. High quality and not littered with twigs.

Good value
Arrived in 2 days. Good quality, smell, appearance. The only potential issue may be the berries did not appear completely dry. There was some moisture still left in them. They were not moldy at all and seemed in perfect condition. I could see though, this being a problem if their shelf life was to long. I am keeping unused berries in a sealed container in the freezer and anticipate no problems!!

Love, love, LOVE THIS!!! This is by far the best and least expensive way to get a quality product and not go broke. All it takes is about an hour and a half of your time to make a tasty, good for you and your family medicinal syrup. I added cinnamon sticks, fresh ginger root, ground cardamom and ground turmeric. After I cooked the berries to the half reduction point, strained it into a bowl, allowed it to cool then added some organic honey. My elderly parents are taking a dose every day as well as me and my husband. Everyone loves it and it is definitely economical. It was packaged well and I will be ordering this product again. I want to make some gummies the next time. 🥰
