The batteries were charged and the unit worked right out of the box, however I further charged the batteries by placing the unit in the bright Florida sun for eight hours. I then set it up just before it got dark. I also set up a trail camera right next to it, pointing in the same direction. The trail camera automatically took 39 photos of hogs walking around in front of the unit that was supposed to frighten them off. There is no evidence that the hogs were even the least bit deterred. The time and date is not correct on the camera images. I had the unit set at the multiple setting which displays the loudest sound with flashing light. I did test it by walking in front of it immediately after I set it out and also just before removing it in the morning. The unit did operate when I walked in front of it, but, as you can see in the photos, it did not frighten the hogs.

If I could give it a zero, I would - for all the "glossy" marketing terms! I wrote a polite not to the supplier weeks ago and I have been ignored. A total waste of money.

I always take this device with me on a hike, it's incredible, but it works! I do not feel any side effects, but on the contrary, I am sure that my sleep will be strong without uninvited guests. Previously, field mice and climbed into the tent, now no mice, no insects, no dogs that may be nearby. My life has become quieter. Pleases the battery charge, as well as what material this device is made of. In General, this device will definitely solve your problems, take it and do not lose, I guarantee!

This is awesome for me.. squirrels stop touching and digging my plants.. and pooping dog in our front yard..

Cats momentarily stop and look at, but that’s it, not a product I would ever recommend. Sitting in the box, to late to return. To me wasted money!!

I bought it works like a week and no anymore probably are from China bad quality . Amazon should do better job on aloud this staff selling to the public. I Hate write things but os waste of time and money

I purchased two of these and the animals walk right past it every time. I have cats, squirrels and groundhogs. Thinking of returning it.

This animal repeller did not work, dogs and cats still come to my yard.
