This cover has a great material and the clips are secured well. We have it on a 14.5 foot surf ski Epic 5 boat. It fits well and does reduce heat. We have also used it for loading the boat on the top of the truck the night before and securing it- it has yet to be through a big rain but definitely kept the boat dry through a sprinkle and morning dew. Dries quick and easy storage!

I have bought several of these for my 3 Kayaks over the last few years. Fits well and is waterproof. However, in the direct south Florida sun for 6 hours a day, they fade quickly and rot in about 10 months. The last ones I bought in October 2021, I sprayed one with 3M waterproofing and UV protection (about $8.00). That one is holding up fine after 10 months but the one I didn’t spray completely rotted. The covers are not expensive so I didn’t mind spraying the cover. Maybe all the inexpensive covers are the same, but I am trying another brand this year.

I keep my kayak in two pairs of kayak hull carriers on a small boat trailer and this cover was a snap to put on and covered both boat and carriers.. Did not use the straps instead strapped it fore ,aft and in the middle with bungee cords because nasty weather is a possibility. . Took me all of about ten minutes to get it set up. Hey if it lasts thru a boiling Florida summer I'll be more than satisfied. For those of you complaining about sagging over the cop-pit...make I that part of the cover tent shape with wood and spray it with Alsko Silicone Waterguard...orange cap...Wally World. Spray ur cockpit cover with it for double protection. Those covers are a must for outdoor dry storage. . Helped run a kayak touring company for quite a few years and that is all we used to keep boats dry..Glad to this in my sports quiver.24 hrs later a hard downpour for 45 minutes..boat was totally dry

I ordered this product to keep the dust and spiders off my kayak when it is on the storage rack at the lake. I will not be using until next spring. Upon taking it out of the package, it was light weight. Sewing looks good on the straps and buckles. It will fit my 10.2 foot kayak well.

Cover had nice features to get a good fit: two under kayak straps with quick connect buckles and perimeter bungie cord with draw-string type catch. However, mine faded after a few months (which I didn't care about) and absolutely broke down with multiple rips caused by normal windy conditions. I don't live in a particularly hot or sunny location so this was unacceptable. Won't buy this brand again.

A couple of months ago I ordered 2 of the identical kayak covers. They both arrived at the same time, each in the same coloured case. When I took them out of their cases, one of them was entirely the wrong colour and size. I contacted the seller and the seller was quick to respond. They asked me to return the wrong item and to re-order a new one. In the meantime, I put the other cover on one of our kayaks. I received the new cover a couple of weeks later. When I put it on the second kayak I noticed that the first cover is already starting to fade. I'm not surprised, as I had read other reviews saying this had happened to them, too. Our kayaks sit in a fairly shaded spot but the cover is still affected by the sun's UV rays. The covers fit our 13.6' tandem kayaks great and is easy to put on. As you can see in the picture, the kayaks are stored in a fairly wooded area and the covers provide good protection from the tree sap. The only reason I gave a 4-star rating rather than a 5-star rating is because of how quickly the cover faded.

Fits well, does the job. Faded quickly and now it's PINK.

Ordered 2 of these covers, one for our 17 1/2 foot Clipper canoe, the other for my wife's 16 1/2 foot kayak. The covers protect both boats very well. Happy with these covers!

this is a great product....plenty big enough for my 14' kayak....great weight...would highly recommend it...p.s. great price as well!
