I purchased this clipper set late October 2023. My cockapoo was a puppy then. I own Andis clippers I used for my large standard poodle but wanted something smaller/quieter for this new little girl. Her coat has developed more like a poodle so trimming curly is a little different. Some tangles & small matts. I keep her hair short. This trimmer works great! For over a year now I’ve used them about every 6 weeks for full trims & in between for face and feet. Poodle hair grows fast & hers does. I live in Colorado mountains with a large yard. She gets all types of weather & gets wet & dirty. Pine sap sometimes in paws. Loves to run & play. This trimmer has been really great. Easy to use holds charge well. I really appreciate how it doesn’t over heat & being cordless. It’s durable & combs work very well. Very lite. I’ve had no issues.Sadly now the blade is getting dull & I have to replace the whole device. Price is still great even at $7 more It’s been so handy I don’t know if I want to switch to my Andis clippers [used them 16 years] with the long cord. Andis are excellent too & easy to replace blade. I may spring for high cost of cordless.😀I’m contacting seller to purchase just the device as I don’t need whole kit.

I have to say this dog clippers is well worth the money. Quality is great. Easy to use and holds its charge enough for two small dogs. Makes very little noise. Highly reccomend.

This is my very first pair of dog clippers. I have always used my horse clippers on my dogs because they work well. Unfortunately this year, my $85 pair of horse clippers lost battery charging ability. I need a new one. While looking for new clippers, I ran across these. In an effort to save a bit of cash, I decided to give these a try. I was very impressed with the look of these clippers. Very nice! I like the digital display, and sure can’t beat the price! Way cheaper than horse clippers! First we tried it on my husband’s hair and beard. It cut nicely. Then tried it on my long hair Chihuahua. It cut ok, her fur is very fluffy and soft. It did do the job effectively, just sometimes I had issues when it came to the very soft frilly parts of her coat. I must add however these clippers did a way better job than my horse clippers! With the horse clippers the cut was always uneven. This one, all her fur is the same length! Love it! She looks so cute with her new hair cut! As far as quietness goes, these are about the same as the horse clippers. I love love love the 3 speeds it has! It cuts just as well on the low speed as it does the high. I wish I could leave 4 1/2 stars for this product, but they don’t offer that option. The only issue I had, was when it came to soft fluffy fur, it didn’t seem to cut as well, and little pieces of knotted fur got stuck in the comb guide, so I would have to stop and blow those out. Overall this is a great clipper! I’m going to try it on my horses next!

Amazing clippers, easy to use and they actually work!!

I got these clippers about 2 years ago. Right off the bat I noticed that the on off switch was quirky sometimes needing several tries to turn off or on. Also the readout would only come on momentarily when plugging in the charger. I decided to keep, however because those issues not withstanding, it was a good tool. The first year passed and I would use 3 or 4 times to shave my shaggy dog till she overgrew again. I would routinely charge prior to the one hour job. This year I noticed the charge would only last a half hour, requiring me to recharge to finish her. The last time I used it, it lasted about 10 minutes. It took me 7 days to get her finished. I've been watching the charge over the last few months and it doesn't stay charged, dying at about the 5 minute mark. Once I charged; switched on and this time the charge readout appeared and stay on while running. You could watch the % drop every few seconds and it got to zero just in a few minutes. I'm gonna try to contact the seller and see if they're maybe good guys and can provide a new better replacement battery. If they do I will revise this review. If not I do not recommend Holdog. It's a rechargeable battery and was not abused nor used too much. I'm also wondering if this was a return or refurb that they slipped in. **** I heard back within a few hours. They apologized and asked if they could replace. I agreed. They did say it might take a little bit, but I an impressed with their customer service. I will update when I receive the replacement. This make me very happy as this, minus the few problems is the best clippers I've ever owned and it's quiet and doesn't scare my dog. Kudo to Holdog Sevice Team. Top stars for immediate response. UPDATE. True to their word. I received a brand new one and it works perfectly. This is the kind of company I highly recommend. They were responsive and fulfill their promise. They get a 5 star PLUS review. These are the BEST clippers I've ever owned. I give their customer service 5 stars + as well. I am totally amazed at how quick and painlessly they responded. I can't give anymore kudos all around because this is a great company, product and seller staff. My best wishes to all evolved.
